Well, the "Borg Warner" coil I ordered from PepBoys came in a Borg Warner box ... but was an old familiar Bosch coil. The folks at PepBoys were perplexed but promptly refunded my $185.

Same thing happened to me. I checked spark and fuel before thinking to open the airbox and check the pop-off, which had popped off. I reinstalled it using a lot more epoxy.

If that fuel was not added after it stalled, you could have a bad fuel sender that sticks at 1/3 full.

Oops, never mind.
I found that by detaching the cable at the clutch first, the pedal and lever move forward by themselves, making the clevis much more accessible.

Clutch cable replacement question

Looks like detaching the spring on the clutch pedal itself would provide better access to the lever and clevis hidden in that hell-hole.

Is this a bad idea?
