Ben and I were up at Europros today, and saw quite a number of cars, some very familiar. One is on his Celette, and I'll hope the owner will do some posting (or give me permission to). Longhood, extremely major restoration. I got to see a lot about the structure of the frame. Jack has amazing skills and knowledge--we had fun looking over some of the vehicles there and an extensive tour of the ongoing restoration on that longhood.

We have a friend who had a real GT-40 in the 1980's (and maybe early 1990s). Sold it to put 3 sons through Med School. And his 911 track car. And his boat. I hope those kids are grateful!

Black 997TT cabrio on 95N heading past Quantico and by Springfield last Thursday. Was hard to stay with him, except he made a poor decision in traffic and the Escort wagon I was piloting rocked out ahead and he wasn't able to catch back up before I exited at the Beltway.

White 951 driving slow, then racing after a brand new Moostang on the Beltway local lanes by Eisenhower and Telegraph Road exits yesterday. Was piloting the wife's Civic -- with her as a passenger -- so could not join in the fun :(

Several times I've seen an Arena Red 993 heading north on Falls Road after work. Same color as Ralf Brueckner's old car. Really nice looking car and sounds great as it passes.

This Boxster passed us on northbound Michigan I-75 near Saginaw. I had cruise set at 77 mph and he/she was probably doing close to 90 mph. I-75 is a great highway to zip along as there are virtually no troopers (that you can see.....) between Saginaw and the Mackinaw Bridge.

The 944 is often parked here just off Colley Ave in Norfolk. It has current ODU parking stickers - may be a future PCA'er.

I think I've met the guy with that orange Murcialago...we went to a garage get-together a couple times. Picked up the car out west with his kid and drove it across most of the country. Really nice guy, also has a Jalpa he's restoring (says rebuilding the engine on them is a PITA).

On the topic of soccer, looks like I am going to be a soccer coach for U10 this fall. It is my opinion that this sport is a perfect opportunity for children to chase a ball. I can't imagine the interest for adults.
