Well, it wasn't really modded I guess, just decorated with parts from the Trak Auto and a big 5L engine. Big difference between that an a 911. But I'm not worried at all. I think days like today with the ice storm present great learning opportunities. I don't worry about the "limits" per se. Just having a ball.

Welcome Ed:

My $0.02 ...

Street is for safe responsible driving so that you don't take out a family [like mine or other board members] when it somehow "got away from you".

Track is for whatever you want b/c it is only you and those that signed up for it.

I can't wait to get some nicer rims, that will really make it almost perfect I think. It's almost begging me for some 17's or 18's!!!!!!!!!!!
I see that your new baby has a PCA sticker on it. Who was the previous owner ? Someone on this board may know the car and provide some valuable info on it for you.

Come on guys, lay off the lincoln. It was a beast and could smoke any of you in the 1/4 so don't talk smack unless you can back it up!!!!! It's gone now but I have very fond memories of that car. No, no chrome dice or anything like that but it did have a nice systsem in it - 12" kickers in the trunk and 500w amp.

@William - I live in laytonsville MD but I work (and party) in dupont circle in DC.

Ed, when I worked on Capital Hill I used to hit the happy hour scene around "The Circle" with a few of my buddies. I get back into town at the end of this month. Perhaps a dorki gathering at a good happy hour spot near your work is in order. Holla.
