Update 5.June.2007:

Well, this weekend was pretty much a bust as far as car work went. But, I did get some help tonight from BlackTalon so I decided to remove the one thing left in the car:

That should make the fuel line thing easier. BTW - a lift is the GREATEST. TOOL. EVAR. I will not debate this. Now, the axles were off, but other than that nothing was prepped on the car other than the oil was drained. Dave actually did most of the prep work while I assembled the new ATV jack and made a maple pallet to support the engine. We also BSed and drank beer, and the engine was out of the car in < 3 hours.

Oh, and I got my new Miata battery. Here it is getting a test fit:

It is literally 1/3 the size of the old semi battery I had.
