I got the oil out, blower out, exhaust dropped, engine surrounds & valve covers off, plugs out, plug wires all disconnected at both ends, ONE distributor off and she's sitting in the Z1 position for the valve adjustment in the morning. I can't seem to get the one screw on the bottom of the damned second distro to come loose. It's almost strinpped and I'm not quite sure what to do to get it off. I shot it with some liquid wrench and I've let it sit for a while. I sure hope that sucker comes loose or I'll be busting that second distributor out. Thoughts?
Wish me luck with the rest of the job!

...used an impact driver to loosen it up. Now that I got the dizzy out, looks like I should just go ahead and rebuild it, huh?

Try to tighnten it. This often of loads the threads and then the screw will back out. Use good steady pressure and don't let the screwdriver slip, also make sure you are using a good one. Old screwdrivers always wind up screwing me and not the fixture!
