Found this on the 911s registry board. Looks interesting. $24k

Early 911 race car

I don't know the car, but the owner is a good friend - he's a well-known vintage racer. Car is in Toronto.

1969 911 Historic Race Car #129 for sale

Serial No. 119121499 CASC logbooks since 1988.
73 RS spec body in sunburst yellow, full cage, OMP racing seat with Leaf harnesses, Lifeline fire system, front oil cooler, monoball front struts, aluminum rear control arms, adjustable trailing arms, turbo tie rods, 7” x 15” BBS fronts and 8” x 15” BBS rears with Kumho Victoracers, spare set of Fuchs.

3 litre, JE 10.5:1 forged pistons, GE80 cams, heads flowed and polished, 46IDA Webers, MSD6AL ignition, SC distributor recurved by I.A.E. Detroit, 260 h.p. est.
915 transmission with 7.31 r & p

That seems kinda like what I'm creating...except I'll spend far more $$ in the process.

What do they say about the journey being part of the fun? And who is -they- anyways?

I might have seen this car at LCMT last year. Have pics on my computer at home. Have to check. If its the same car, it was f-ing nice!
