Default Maryland Windshield removal

I am hoping I can do a fellow exotic car friend a service and since he is the PO of ARF and owns a convertable 356B you should feel free to offer a suggestion and have it go to a good guy. He needs a windshield expert in MD, preferably Montgomery County to help him remove and eventually reinstall the windshield and back window of his 67 Shelby restoration project. Do you know somebody? Thanks. :P

Can't recommend anyone but...if he gets tired of the project I might know a buyer.

I learned how to turn wrenches many years ago on a '68 GT500 restoration. Absolutely love that car.

Jase,

It would rip his heart out to give up this project. When he is done he has a 1937 (9) 4 door Ford Pheaton convertable and a 1962 (I think) 356B Convertable to do next. Right now he needs the name of a glassman.

Is the frame and seal simular to the 911?
Most older cars were. If so and if he plans to replace the seal he can remove it himself (Maybe a helper.) Just remove the trim and cut the sealon the outside. Two people can easily lift it off.
Installation is a little trickier using a rope or string, but can be done at home.
What year?
How about a picture?

Agree w/Bill,this isn’t rocket science & replacements are easy to find. When a tree took out the SCs windscreen a few years ago the insurance just sent out a guy from a glass place. He replaced it w/new gasket in the parking lot.

John, Royal Auto glass is right up the street from you on Gude Dr. They replaced the windshield on my Jeep for $100 after a rock hit it while I was driving and put a huge crack through it. There are other windshield places like Dave is saying that will come to you and replace the windshield on the spot.
