Welcome Chris. Don't worry, we won't hold the 951 against you--much. And you Dorki with 4wd support vehicles, Curry's is one of the few places around that can speedo calibrate 4wds--just in case you're caught speeding in one--I mean some lying sack of shit police officer says you were speeding.

Kurt I asked for my Penske pic and was denied! I will have to come up with something else.

Thanks all for the welcome, especially since I am a FEWC devil........

Tony, the racing thing I am still trying to figure out. Do I run Super Cup in my 84 and keep the 89 mostly stock or run the 89 in SC and move the 84 to a new home??? Now there is a bunch of talk about running the 84 in next years 12 hour........... I guess I do both! Anyway I am in the middle of spending ALL of my cash on an addition to my 120 year old home. The addition is costing more than the house did originally so I need to make some income to get me to the track sooner rather than later. We'll see but don't look for me soon, I am working on the temp. engine for the 89 now so who knows.

Thanks again all.

Chris

Hey Chris,

Probably wiser to take care of the addition first. If the girl ain't happy, nobody's happy. That's been my experience, anyway.

Chris, welcome to the board.

I had the pleasure to meet Chris last week at Curry's and he was able to help me out with my DME on the 944, he also currently has my Boxster. Now if I can just get that 944 to pass emissions.

I was thinking about the cat/dog one.

All additions cost more than the house!

Chris- great to hear about the career change. I would love to see the '84 run in the 12 hour, to me it will always be my car no mattter who is driving!

The cat/dog picture......hmmmmmm. I will have to look into that but it may not be appropriate here but it would be funny.

Thanks Justin. It was a no brainer. I may actually finish the red car since I will be able to take it to work now. I need one car to go to SCCA school in the fall so that is the current goal. I will most likely need a driver for the 12 hour, someone who's familiar with 944's?

Chris does this mean that in a year or two you'll be back at IMA?

If Ivan had his way it would be sooner! You know, you can never tell what will happen, I have always tried to never burn any bridges. As we all know ours is a small, close knit community and anything can and usually does happen. If someone had asked me a month ago if I would be back at Curry's I would have not given it much of a chance but........here I am!

I used to joke that Bill Suhosky was my emplyment broker. Tim are you looking to take that spot over?
