hello, new to dorkiphus
 

After many visits just lurking I registered yesturday. Hopefully I will have something to contribute to this board. From what I have read this board is all business and little BS, which is great to see.

Thanks! I am driving a 97 Tahoe right now....... sigh. After 7 years of 110 mile round trip commuting and 10-15 track days a season, my 89 951 finally had enough and has some engine noise. I cannot complain as it has over 160k on it and it's to be expected.

After a year at HBL I recieved an offer from Matt Curry to go back to Curry's Auto after a 5 year absence. I am at the Dulles shop. I have my work cut out for me but hopefully I can turn it around and make it succussfull again. I have Matt's support and a chassis dyno as well! It should be good.

Thanks for the warning Chris but I kind of know Jase007 and am ready for him..ha ha.

Welcome! Glad to see you come out of the darkness and into the light. It's OK that you are a FEWC racer / hack / fan, we won't hold that against you. ;) Hell, your fellow FEWC-mates ~ Tony K might just teach you Australian drinking songs to go along with Dirk's cat mating / screeching music :lol:


Hmmm...sure seems to be a lot of FEWC owner's round here now-a-days....

Congrats on the new gig. Sounds like you have some scope to make the Dulles shop a winner.

Will be great to have your FEWC expertise on the board, as well as your ability to go toe to toe on trash talk. When are you coming racing again???
