OK, parts are in... They have all made it. I was just out in the garage cleaning/scrubbing up the mess of what I would call an engine.
If you are interested in swinging by please feel free, it looks like there will be 3 or 4 Rennlisters here for sure to help out. PM me email me or IM me if you want directions. I would love to head to another event this weekend but the project calls Michael

Well, i have to say my thanks AGAIN to Eric and Brian for all their help. Eric did most of the work, thank god.. I now have a running '83 944. It doesnt run well, it wont idle but if you rev it above 2K it will stay running. Now to fix the rest of the vacuum problems and get it a bit more stable.
I do not know how many times that I should say thanks so I'll cut it short. Thank you, Ken, Danny, Eric, Brian, Andy, ROCK and XSBoost!!!! Michael Video and pics to follow! Update, I was talking to Ken tonight and he asked to se if we had ALL the vacuum lines plugged that we weren't using. I double checked and guess what, the vacuum check valve on the booster was not covered. I covered it up and no more white spoke coming out of the exhaust. Coinsidence? I don't know. Also. I hooked up the oil gauge at Ken's suggestion and we are at 5bar!!! Looks like we are safe for now. As for the car. In my hands I am still not sure how safe it is.
