So Betty, does this "transplant" have anything to do with the conversation Gary and Gunther had at VIR? If so, God help us ALL!

It's not scarey. I'm using parts that are just sitting around.... Afterall, the only other thing we could do with that motor is put it in a lucite cube and use it as a coffee table. Nahhhhh. What a waste! 8)

Now I'll also need a 915 transmission. Looks like I'll have a 901 Quaiffe for sale along with wheels. A spring trip to Hershey to get rid of all this stuff is looking like a required calendar item.

914/Ruf-GT Girlie Girl Racing pocket rocket. Yikes!!! Betty, you know you're going to end up with a faster car than Gary, don't you?

We're actually taking bets on that. The weight to horsepower ratio should be very close but Gary will actually have the edge. Add to that the improved handling and brakes on the RGT and I think he's got me by a second or so. But it will be close and we should both be in the teens as Summit Point. Hehehehe.

Now lets just all cross our fingers that this all works out and isn't just smack talk.

Yes, b/c as "pipes" has so readily demonstrated .... smack talk will get you nowhere and everywhere at the same time on this board.
