Glad to see there are some enthusiasts left . Great seeing Sam, Justin, Jase, and Steve at today's monthly gathering at Daingerfield Island. I think since not too many people show up at the Island, I vote to move the monthly meeting spot back to the original space over at the Eisenhower ave metro station. I must admit, Daingerfield Island is a beautiful spot, it just doesn't have enough parking spaces.

I was there at 11:00 AM & no one else! I came w/a friend in his beautiful white ’93 968 cab. Foolish boy he is he let me drive! Top down, 6 speeds, wish the 931 ran as well… or at all for that matter. I guess I’ll have to get up earlier on these Saturdays!

Dave, you just missed us. We all left around 10:45am.

It is close but after getting up at 5:00 AM for work all week WE DON”T DO EARLY ON WEEK ENDS! Admittedly I could have made it if I wasn’t waiting for my friend. He did let me drive his 968 cab! 6 speeds, lots of HP, top down, nuf said. Besides I wanted everyone to meet him (he has a gaggle of early 911s). Some are actually rather nice!

I hear ya! I don't do good with getting up early PERIOD! I can understand where you are coming from since my work week requires me to be up at 5:30 in the morning as well. Try to get your friend to come out a little earlier.
