After trying a little Zymol out last week, I'm a believer in the stuff and plan to do a full wax job in my dad's garages over X-mas. Any update on where to buy it locally and/or if the Costco stuff really is bogus? Thanks.

Don't waste your money on the Zymol that they sell at Advance. It left flake and powder residue everywhere. The real stuff is what you want. The Dulles Porsche shop -- I forget the exact name but it's where they have the swap meet -- sells P21 products and I think they have the Zymol too.

FWIW: I have used McGuires and Mothers for all of my cars / trucks / bikes. The McGuires seems to work well. Mind you, I always buy or paint my vehicles a light color so I don't have to see the swirls and dings. Jase |

I buy my stuff from CarCareOnline now too, and usually buy when I have a large enough order to cover the shipping.
100% Cotton Rags - Hard to find them believe it or not, most other rags claiming to be cotton leave swirls in the surface. 3M Imperial Hand Glaze - works wonders preparing the paint for the coat of wax, removing, wax buildup, scratches and imperfections. Hand rub it onto the surface using cotton rags, in non-circular motion. 100Grand Wax - That stuff is great, and I usually give the car the full treatment twice a year with 2-3 coats of wax after the Hand Glaze application (since that strips off all wax), again in a non-circular motion. Works great. The Car CareOnline site is wonderful. Keith
