You are better off reinstalling the parking brake shoes before installing the hub. I did it both ways and found it much easier to install brake shoes without the hub in the way.

Are these the same steps for an 03 boxter?

I need help step by step how to replace the rear bearings on a 2003 Porche Boxter. I will post a new thread, seems like a great community.

Thanks!

Best way to tell (short of a shop stepping in) is the check the factory repair manuals and PET. Cross reference the PET numbers for both years and if the same then you can be about 97% sure the process is the same.
