Default Fuch restoration

Anyone know of a local person place in the DMV? I did send mine out to Peter(fuchsguy) in CA, but he hasn't responded to any emails. I guess there is fuch restoration and Weidman wheels. Any others?

Thanks

Paul at Radial Tire in Silver Spring refinished a set of factory GT3 wheels for me and they turned out great. Cost was reasonable and turnaround was three days. If Paul is not available ask for Adam.

When I bent my wheels, Paul did not have a machine that would true up the round.

Don’t hit stuff

He doesn’t have a machine to true wheels. They straighten them the old fashioned way with a BFH. It is an art form.

As for refinishing wheels they send them out for paint or powder coating IDK, ask!

How can a high volume tire and wheel shop not have a rim machine? They are not complex or expensive. Even the truck based wheel guys have them.

All I can tell you is that my son Patrick hit a curb last year in his Volvo, with aluminum wheels. Radial broke out a BFH and trued the rim replaced the tire and put it on a balancer, job done

If they don't have to like original you could do them yourself. Polish the lips and paint the black part, and done.

Cheers
