Default Pitt Race Passing Zones for White RG?

Great to see everyone at SP this weekend - feel much better having knocked rust off my driving and gotten a little speed going. Almost thawed out, too.

Looking forward to my first visit to Pitt Race. Watching some video and wondering where the passing zones are for White run group? Hopefully not just the big straights.

Cheers
Ed

As I recall there are about six passing zones, including the steep downhill into the boot, the short straight coming out of the boot into the esses, and another short zone before the final S leading on to the back straight. Plus the 3 main straights. Lots of opportunities.

But, but, you have to be fast enough to get close enough to get a pass!!

Default passing at Pittrace

Thanks Jim!

So I think that's front straight, 2 to 3, 4 to 5, 6 to 7, 14 to 15, and 15 to 16.

And for the record, I'm not worried about where I'll get a pass, I'm worried about checking my mirrors! Looking forward to learning a new track.

Cheers,
Ed

You will have a blast, it really is a fun track, pretty "busy". Do the orientation laps and see if you can get a ride along or two as well. Ignore your mirrors until coming up to a passing zone.
