Default Is it the end of my tires?

Update 5/10/17 - see post #12

After 4 events (8 days) and 10,000 miles the outer shoulders of my front tires (300 TW) is running/ran out ( yes, I just got a new alignment to help with this problem in the future).
The center tread still has 30-40% life. Would you run these front tires another track weekend? I'm trying to be prepared ahead of tech inspection.
Thanks for your help

I would have flipped the ties on the wheels so those edges would be on the inside. But now that you got a different alignment there is no guarantee those edges will not be worn much on the inside.

Looking at the Tire Rack, it appears that the F1 Ass 3 is not flippable inside-outside.

D'oh! I focused on the tread edge, and not the 'asymmetric' on the sidewall

Does asymmetric tread pattern matter on a dry track? I didn't think so. Not that there's much of a pattern left on these.

The way that makers are making tires these days, they use different compounds for the inner, middle, and outer edges...but yeah, you could definitely get a few sessions out of them by flipping inside out.

OTOH, if they do suck when flipped, hope you have a plan B...

Depends. Some have camber built in to them, or the reinforcing near one edge is different then the other, etc...

Me? I would run 'em, but watch my pressures and have a Plan B if one or more wear through, as it would be the pits to drive to Pittsburgh and have fuched tires after the first day.

You could ask an expert (Paul at Radial Tire). He might flip them for you, too, even if you didn't buy them there if it seems like you will likely be a future customer (you SHOULD!). If he flips them and doesn't charge you, leave a large tip for his guys (I leave $30-60 depending on how many tires - it would cost >$20/tire most places and Radial does it correctly) (sometimes I leave more, like the time I brought 12 rims and 16 tires! - quite a bit more that time).
