Default Fair Lakes Cars & Coffee is Shut Down - Permanently

Due to on-going and escalating poor behavior at and around the Fair Lakes Cars & Coffee, the property manager has officially closed the parking lot to this event.

Yesterday she stated that anyone showing up next Sunday would be arrested, charged with trespassing, and she would have their car towed and impounded. The police officer at the event confirmed her intentions and noted that Fairfax County Police would be at the site next weekend.

This even is over folks, it was nice while it lasted.....

Wow...so if you go there with a nice car to go shopping you get arrested....this will be interesting
Stinks a few people ruined it for the rest but gotta say I'm suprised this didn't happen earlier

No, no gangs, just a small percentage of the attendees who refused to follow the simple basic rules of the event. Too many burnouts, engine revving early on a Sunday morning, driving too fast in the parking lot and in the area around the event and doing 0-100+ runs on Fair Lake Circle.

As always, it seems that the few often ruin it for the many. Too bad....it was a nice way to spend some time with fellow car-guys while the race car is down-and-out....

Yep. I was there and the police officer was walking around and telling everyone that their car was going to be towed.

The spectators were sitting there along the edge of the parking lot watching and applauding cars as they do burnouts while leaving.

In all seriousness, what a bummer. I have not been in a whil but I enjoyed it when I could make it by. Pity.

Wow, my son and I just missed going last Sunday. That's really too bad. Most of the people whom I've met there are pretty cool and there are always awesome cars to see and people to chat with.
