a "client" at my garage was lifting his Subaru last week. I suggested using the crimped edge of the body where there appears to be an obvious space for the lift arm pads just ahead of the rear wheels and behind the front wheels. He wanted to use two rails further inbound on the car. When he did it his way and lifted the car a few inches, I showed him how the car rocked with little input because the two arms were too close together. He did it my way (the intended way for that car) and when we lifted it and rocked it again it was MUCH more stable. This is why at my garage the lifting procedure includes trying to knock the car off the lift when it is a couple inches off the ground.

I don't even know what to call this. Fail, weird, stupid. It's a clip from Joachim Phoenix's recent movie, "Her." The sideways view is critical to understanding, so give it some time.

Why, what would a citizen get for the same thing... not that I ever did anything like that...

Law officers have a greater duty to uphold the law. I agree with Tony.
