I've found the same problem with a number of local P-car shops! The treat you honestly and do excellent work to trick you into continuing to have your car serviced there

Thanks for the update. Being he is right down the street from me I'll have him do it for me once the suspension settles.

By any chance he didn't say what he charges for the alignment?

Hi Quick,
As I recall he said it would be $400. to put it up on the rack ect. He also told me
that I needed to have a full tank of gas in the car ? I was not quite sure why,
but he went on to speak of why and it made sense. I'm agreed and proceeded to
roll on down the street and fill up ! Hope things turn out well...

Hi,

For $400 do you know if that included corner balancing?

Hi Quick,
No clue on this one, Never made it that far. Also, forgot to mention HAM asked
me very detailed questions on what type of wheels were on the car when I
originally called.

Finally got the alignment done.. Turned out an old friend of mine has a great Hunter machine at his shop called Tolker Auto Service in Gaithersburg.

He let me come over and we both did the alignment together. Not sure what all the fuss was about how hard and long it takes to do the alignment on these cars I was getting and also the big bucks they wanted but it took us no time at all to set the car up and get all the specs in line.

He can be reached at 301-869-9360 his name is Dmitry tell him Bernard sent you.

The guys at Tolker are good folks. I needed an inspection on my mother's car (when I needed to transfer the title to me), and Matt de Maria recommended them. Very fair, and they didn't find anything wrong (unusual on a Maryland inspection).
