Various meets and greets too. DeVor or "Fun Run and Upcoming Events for those that wash, shine and eat more than track their cars section"

Might as well go a head and introduce yourself. Otherwise you'll just end up taking a beating every time you post till you do..

My name is Al, a long time owner of my Porsche 928S. My user name is Vipermn1 because i'm the VP of Sales for the eastern region for Directed the makers of Viper Auto Security. My 928 features a full security and remote start system with automatic windows that go up when the system is armed.

Quick story as to why it sat so long:
Honestly have been swamped with my job, three boys that played baseball, coaching each of their teams, etc, etc, etc. My two have gone on to college and my youngest is a junior in high school and is playing for his high school team so i FINALLY have some time on my hands. Feel bad that i've neglected the car especially since in such VERY good condition. No issues with it at all prior to letting it sit but understand it will need some work to get it going again.

What we've done to it:
Car will be ready this week! Timing belt, tensioners, brakes, rotors, grease seals, drain fuel tank, fuel, pump, fuel filter, clean injectors, 44k, wires, plugs, tans fluid and filter, airfilter, oil & oil filter, antifreeze, differential fluid, oxygen sensor, fuses and relays galore, new tires, balance, alignment. So much has been done i'm sure i've left out some things Any upcoming events/get togethers in the DC area.

How do you add a picture?

Default Some Pic's of My Car At COHO Automotive

Car's almost finished, Chris and Dan ROCK! Dan is doing the timing belt, tensioner, rollers, etc today. Brakes are completed and looking good. New tires arrived today from my friend Dave at G&C Automotive, putting on some Michelin Pilot Sports.
