yep, just joined the community, thanks for letting me in l just moved to the DC area after 22 years in New Mexico where l had a small german car focused repair shop. Don`t ask why l left Santa Fe, everyone does...l`ve built, bought, sold and enjoyed many many Porsche autos and l hope to always have at least one in my life. l recently purchased an Audi TT which is awesome and my current 911 is for sale sans engine. l have a trade offer for a built 944 turbo touting 350 hp...nice. l will post pics if the deal goes through.

Default Intro to rgro6

After being told by numerous Potomac members, I finally ventured into this forum last summer and have been passively watching since. Did my first post today so I guess I really need to introduce myself.

PCA and Potomac has been my family's autocross and now DE haven since buying a great 944s2 in 2004. All 5 of us have done a variety of autocross and on track events (HPDC and DE) over the years, using the s2 as well as an E36 328i. I've met many of you, as have my family members, especially son Jeff who is now a DE and skid pad junkie (and I couldn't be more proud of him).

Looking forward to seeing you on the track, at the skid pad, and out bangin' cones when the weather allows.

Randy, welcome! Haven't seen you out between the cones in a while but glad to hear the DE bug has bitten the family quite firmly!

Welcome Randy!

You're a great Dad for sharing your weekends and car(s) with your family! I really enjoyed working with Jeff earlier this summer. Looking forward to seeing you all on track.

Don, why not add your first name to your signature? Might want to consider your car too?

Hey Dave...only made 2 autox events last year (schedule) and missed all of 2010 while the s2 was in rehab following a "mishap" involving a fence and a few trees. You'll see more of us in 2012.

Brian...thanks for the big assist in upping Jeff's addiction... It's priceless to see a 19 year old guy grin like a silly school girl. That weekend on Shenandoah was great for Jeff.

Yes, Tony...about dang time

Hi Folks,

My name is Mohammad (Mo) and I've been lurking the site for a while. I grew up in Alexandria and glad to find other local Porsche addicts in this site. I currently own a 1985 Carrera 3.2 (Guards Red/Black) and a 2001 996 Turbo (Guards Red/Black). The 996 is a new acquisition and sadly the 85 will have to go soon because lack of garage space and resources. Looking forward to meeting some of you online and at the various events.

Mo

Hi Mo!
Welcome aboard. What sort of events do you think you're most interested in? DE, Autox, Drive & Dine, Concourse, etc.? We have all types on this board. And if you haven't already considered it, joining PCA has lots of benefits!
