Thats how I did it. ACS Race Studs - 65mm on fornt and 80mm on back for spacers.

Not sure how thick turbo spacers are. I was looking at 15mm when I bought the studs. Still haven't picked up the spacers....

X2. DO NOT skimp on quality when choosing wheel studs. The Pelican/Rennline kit for $95 would worry me for track use.

On the earlier 986/996's with the spare tire, the tool kit included an aluminum post the screwed into one of the bolt holes, and helped align the wheel to get the bolts started. We've used it for years on our Boxster. I prefer lug nuts to bolts, but for occasional wheel changes, the alignment post worked quite well.

I actually made some spare posts with a 14x1.5 die and some half inch rod stock. With two posts it's even easier to locate the wheel. My preference is still for studs, though. I'm liking the bullet heads.

While aesthetically pleasing, 951 8's fit in the back of an SC without need for spacers. I did this with my '78SC with 245-45-16s until I sourced some 9"s. Just saying.

I like the bolts with the use of the alignment pin in the tool kit.
It keeps you from stripping the studs by sliding the wheels on them.
I actually had to replace a couple studs on my last car - granted it took till about 150k miles.

Yes I know, but the rear track would be different without spacers.
