Default Random thoughts driving to and from SP today

To SP: I wonder if they allow snow chains on the track?.....hmmm where is my snow scaper?........I wish I had heated seats!
From SP after they cancelled for the day: This is nuts!.....to the cars in front of me going up and over the mountain on Route 7 east - don't stop! don't stop.......I am really glad I spent a lot of time on the skid pad in the past!

I went up that mountain sideways half of the way. It was insane. The negative camber of the road was pulling my car off to the right but I fought it all the way up the mountain and didn't stop. Cars were actually passing me in the left lane as my car was climbing the mountain at an almost 45 degree angle of attack! I absolutely credit the skid pad time in the car with giving me just enough experience to barely keep it on the road surface on the way home.

The worst part is that I lost my lip ... I think you were following me and I saw you swerve at one point which in retrospect was probably you trying to avoid hitting my my chewed up lip as I spat it out from under my car.

My track toy has both R-compounds and winter tires sitting in the closet. This would have just required a different set of tires from what I would normally use.
