True, some would rather drive a slower car fast rather than just be a passenger in a fast car!!! !!! But then to each their own!

Glad you said it, because I was going to post something similar (but not said as nicely). Actually, I believe Larry's driving has come a long way, and that his lap times are now faster than mine . Of course, I have a 200 HP car...

I admit it is harder to drive a slow car since you have your leg out the door pedaling.

Default Intro

So my first post was in the classifieds and I figure it is proper to do a reaal intro so here it is.

My name is Scott, I have a shop restoring/customizing cars. I specialize in Porsches however I have done everything from a 1935 Ford to alot of Alfa Romeos and Maseratis. I have a propensity to drive in excess of the posted limits, I like short walks on the beach, iced coffee, I don't always drink beer, but when I do I prefer Killians or Murphy's. My iPod sounds like it belongs to a schizophrenic.............maybe it does

I currently own :

48 GMC pickup ( parts truck )
51 Chevy pickup ( full custom show truck someday )
57 VW ragtop beetle ( to be fully restored )
59 356 Roadster ( in about 5 million pieces )
60 356 coupe ( rusty pile that will be another custom job someday )
68 Chrysler 300 convertible ( ran great until I blew the trans last year )
73 914 ( parts car )
73 911 ( parts car )
74 914 ( another someday custom project )
74 Acapulco Thing ( another full resto someday )
78 BMW R65 custom cafe conversion ( It is actually in the works !!! )
83 911 Targa rolling body ( yet another future project early RSR convert )
85 CJ-7 ( former daily driver, 360-t176-dana 300 twin stick )
86 944 turbo ( conversion ) ( on the road and hitting the Dragon next week ! )
97 BMW K1100RS ( on the road and ridden almost daily )
98 Volvo S70 ( d.d. )
01 Chevy 3500 van ( shop hauler/tow truck )

Anywhooo a link to my crappy website is below if you want to see pics of my work. this is the current collision job I need a rear reflector for if anyone has one. '85 so it needs to be black.

For those who aren't familiar with Scott, he's being modest here. Well-known as one of the best Porsche body guys on the East Coast among the 914 crowd... people ship cars to him from all over.

I'm not just kissing up in the hopes of having him straighten out a few things on my 914 one day...
