Default For Sale: 79' SC Targa Parts

I finally got around to addressing the Targa that is to be parted this weekend since the track car is at the shop. I will be selling every piece off so please make requests on needed items.

Some interesting facts I've learned:
  • Had a 40Channel CB factory installed I think.
  • Gas pedals do stick! Thanks for checking this at Tech!!
  • Hoosiers look cool even on a wreck.

The car is a 79' SC Targa for part number references.

Prices are for established dorki members before I get around to listing them on ebay. I made a commitment to get as much of this car into the local community so the previous owner can believe a bit of his car is in every classic looking 911 he passes.

Engine:
  • These items are on a pallet ready for pickup. I would prefer to sell them together, but can split if needed - See Thread
  • SOLD 1977 2.7L S Engine. Backdated exhaust. Emissions air injection system removed. Valve adjustment in last 400 miles. Oil changed very often. Runs very well. Well tuned CIS. Hydraulic tensioners. Pop off valve. K&H Air filter.
  • SOLD 901 Transmission w/ Short gearing. A,S,X,F,D Gearing? Need to look at my docs. Shifts well. Transmission flush less than 100 miles ago. Includes shift cable.

UPDATED 03/19/2012!
Exterior:
  • Stainless Steel Exhaust! Looks great. Aftermarket stock design w/ Cat and muffler. - $375
  • Targa Top - Fits 75-85 I believe - Does not fit DD's Targa so keep that in mind. It has been reconditioned in the last few years and is in good to very good condition. $375
  • Pair of oil lines - Great Shape. Still attached to trombone. $275
  • Porsche Original thermostat - good shape - Tested - $100
  • Sugar Scoop headlight assemblies - $50
  • Front Calipers, Pair - Sold
  • Rear Calipers, Pair - Sold
  • Hood shocks, Pair - $15
  • Deck lid shocks, Paired - $15
  • Deck lid with 911 SC Badging - $125
  • Complete passenger door with hinges, power window, power mirror, handle & black door panel- $375
  • AC Compressor, York - 930-126-901-00-OEM - $10
  • Rear AC Compressor - 911-573-057-02-M6 - $10
  • Rear Bumper - $75
  • Rear Bumperrettes - $75 for Pair
  • Front Bumper - $75
  • Smile -$40
  • Windshield wiper fluid reservoir - Sold
  • Hood - Sold
  • Passenger front fender - Sold
  • Gas tank - Good shape, but scratched on the bottom - Sold

Interior:
  • Glove box w/ door. Very good shape - Sold

Fritz,
What color is the interior? If chocolate brown, please call me as I need a few tiny pieces.

The interior is all black so it probably won't match your golden wonder..

I don't think so. I know I took it faster then that with the strut assembly jbwelded on. But it's also not for sale as I need all the instruments for the engine update.

Sometime shortly after I find time to drop it first. That's one of the reasons I took off the AC stuff this weekend. It will not happen before the first event unfortunately.
