A monster w/a single sided swing arm, ala 916-998. HMMMMM. Chris you're too tall for a monster. Look at their other models!! (that is unless you look at the Senna model (drool!))

You'll be bored in a matter of days... it's only a 750 air cooled twin. The style, the chrome tank, it's beautiful but you'll quickly tire of the weak engine. Think Yugo engine in a RSR.

Seriously? It's 6-10hp less than the 900, depending on the source. It's that big a difference?

Rode my buddies 2005 Honda CBR F4i this past weekend, only 600cc but man triple digits sure did come quickly.
I fear what kinda trouble I'd get in with a 900cc....

Check out the KTM DUKE or Super DUKE or the Triumph Speed Triple,

Never did understand the hp junkie thing with bikes. Most new riders won't get close to the limits of that monster(kinda like these guys going for those overweight harleys w/o any skills, D-oh!). They have great balance and plenty of hp to scare the pants off ya. It'd be like a freshman to Porsches and recomending a narrow body with 300 bhp. Shure would be fun 'til the first ditch encounter.
That is a beautiful bike Chris, just make sure it fits our vertically challenged bodies! Think of it like your track experience. Don't buy the "rsr" until you have the skills to enjoy her. |
