What I really read was that your wife wants you to get a "beater" as a DD and reserve the 993 for "weekend" use Sorry to hear you want/need to sell.

My attitude is that I own a Porsche to drive it. I don't do much driving on the weekend anyway, so, if it was a weekend only car, it would never get driven. I would feel like my car was a Mazda 2 (or whatever) and I have a very expensive piece of artwork in the garage. Not for me.

AC blows cold. I have never been in SC for a summer, but it gets pretty hot and humid around here. I never had an issue and that is driving to work with long sleeve shirt and tie.
