Sweet. I'd love to see the Rennshift...thinking of buying one for my '72. I only have a few hours as well tomorrow, but I'll try to make the best of them (can't leave my dog locked up in her crate all day and have to run to Radial tire -- PIA).

threads like this kina bug me.. I'm stuck in a cave doing headliner, air deflector up-grade, and windshield BS.. it's a lonely/tideous/delicate package.. it would be a kick to meet you guys, because your only down a big street.. and I'm sure you would get a kick meeting me and my BORESCOPE.. did I mention tideous? tide? that's it.. I'm going to ride 60 miles out into some deep water Sat and think about it.

Party Hearty.......Ron

Yup, this gathering will definately be picture worthy so I'll have my digital camera as well. Maybe Marc can even arrange a Porsche only parking section

Ron - your description of I95 as a "big street" is a classic. Heck, between the Pelicanheads and NoVa gang we could probably even arrange an engine drop just to make sure we get our hands dirty if you ever make it down this way.

So what's the word Vu? It is now 12 hours to kick-off and inquiring minds want to know if the car has been safely delivered to the Garage and Grill.

Yep...I dropped the car off this afternoon. Turns out Marc's neighbor is a good friend of the family (small world).

Just gotta pack up the food and tools in the morning. See you guys at 9:00.

Default Thanks!

Just wanted to drop a line and say a special to thank you to Marc and his wife for hosting today's session. I really learned alot and it was great seeing everyone.

Here are some pics from today:

The drive home was awesome. The motor is running extremely smooth and the throttle response has improved as well. Oh.....did I mention it pulls like a freight train? Not exactly but it's definitely faster than before. I'm sure it's because of the hidden hp we found

Till next time...

Vu, it was another fun project, typical of the NoVA/DC/MD gang. But the food you prepared was a real treat and all of us "workers" sure enjoyed it! Thanks to you and Marc for putting this together.
