Haha -- I had fun with the Talon at an HPDC a few years back. Fading paint/ rust, etc. And I got to pass a 996TT on the front straight, much to the delight of the Stewart and others gathered along that section of track

Default 1973 911/Geo Metro

1973 911 - Geo Metro hybrid? FAIL!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-...8#ht_500wt_964

Quoth the seller:

-snip-

1973 Porsche 911 with fiberglass wide body kit. The car was an original hard top. It was cut to install a convertible top, not yet completed. I just finished installing new top. The convertible frame is from a Geo Metro. The seats are from an 84 corvette and were painted to match. It has a 930 front end with custom headlights on the bottom. The engine is a 3.0 six pack w/ 41 IDA carburetors. Body has some cracks, but nothing serious. Runs good, but when Its parked for a long period of time, it kills my battery. I don’t know where the electrical short is coming from. The car also has original fuch wheels 15x7 fronts and 15x8 rear with new tires. I don’t really want to sell but I’d rather invest in my business. Please e-mail me if you have any questions...

-snip-

"but I'd rather invest in my business" kills me!

If his business has anything to do with exotic cars, I would say not very. That car is an abomination. We should buy it and have a mercy crashing.

OK, lets break this down:
  • 1973 911 with fiberglass wide body kit - still SH underneath, ready for race car kit.
  • Original hard top - so it can be a coupe again once the cage is in place.
  • Seats are from an 84 corvette - gotz to be some smuck that wants these
  • 930 front end with custom headlights on the bottom - slant nozz for got sake, someone will want this.
  • 3.0 six pack w/ 41 IDA carburetors - SC motor or who knows maybe a 70s Carrera!!! And come on 41 IDA setups are worth $$$$
  • Fuch wheels 15x7, 15x8 rear - '44 cups want these for their lumps
  • Also, look at the door panels, steering wheel etc - all look nice too.

If the guy had slapped an RS logo on the back, Noah would have been all over it!

Note the 6 foot chain link fence in the FRONT yard.

I think I would rather have the bus.
