I know what you're saying. I too would love to see alonso get a shot in a red car. Easily the best driver on the grid.

Here he has just taken his gloves off and still has on his helmet. You can see the Mille peeking from the sleeve.

Here just the bulge from the huge Richard Mille is viewable.

What you say is correct for every F1 driver I know of except Phil. He always has his on and I believe Mille has used the fact that their watches can withstand the rigors of being in an F1 car in their marketing.

Kimi does not even size his Tag Heuer which is given to him with his hat and drink. You can notice it flopping around on his wrist during interviews.

i stand corrected. i truly thought he put it on after the weigh in, right before the trophy presentation/conference, though i've never looked at those pics that closely

that's cool. i like that he doesn't do it just for show

Just out of curiosity I looked at the prices. Retail for a Philipe Massa is 52K. Yup 52 large!!
