Default Some love for DR

I was told by DR, "No pics no love" so here are a couple of pics of the 71. It made it home today and will soon be undergoing a complete strip down. (It's close now)
The final decisions were made as to the reconstruction. The body is going to be origional. The chasis is from an 81SC and the engone and drive train is a 2.7, with 915 from a 77S. It should be alot of fun.

Looks like you'll have plenty to keep you out of trouble for the next year or two. Don't let the daughter drive it when it's all done!

I'm glad the '71 made it to it's new home safely. Mac is definitely the most personable rollback driver I've met!

Oh yeah....the '71 has an '81 suspension, not an '81 chasis!

Right back at Ya ED. Sorry I couldn't stay, Mac wanted to get back home.
The carport, are you refering to Ricks house of speed and Porsche emporiam, the eastern annex? It was $300 from Tractor Supply. For a short term type of thing it works well. I like the double doors. After I finish with all the cutting, welding , and general spark flinging stuff I'm gonna put a floor in it.
