Damn - sorry to hear you're leaving the area, Bill. Are you moving to San Diego or LA?

Thanks Guys. Dave, sorry to hijack your thread. Chris, my wife's new job is in Huntington Beach, so we're probably going to find a place in Orange County. South of LA, North of SD. The weather should be great, and I know there will be some tracks to check out. Going to be hard to find DIY P-heads like this Dorki crew out there tho. But I'll stay in touch, and Chris M., we'll leave a light on for you. I'll be around a while longer though.

Bill W.

Great news for you, Bill, but less good for us. Really sorry to see one of the founding Dorki slink off to the left coast.

It won't be long before you are mixing it with the likes of Jack Olsen and Co in LA. Be sure to go visit with Don Newton in San Diego if you are up for some hard driving and loud blues guitar.

Send pics, but please don't do a Newton and tell us every five minutes how great the weather is out there, OK?

True. Remember, all BBS questions can be answered by posting pictures of your car, preferably with your face in the pic.

Going to the OC, huh? I'm sure its just like that show on Fox. Keep in touch on the board, esp. so we can use you to scope out "rust-free" CA cars for us to buy and bring back to the east coast.

(Content) Get the yellow pages out there are lots of speed shops around that sell MSD systems. There is one about a mile from me in Arlington. Can't remember the name of it right now butm it is in the book. I bet Mackpipes knows. (End content)

Bill, sorry to see you head west, you will be missed. Good luck with the wife's job.

Save yourself the trouble of lugging an old smelly P car out west. I'll help you find a place for it. Besides nice rust free long hoods are abundant in the lower left coast and can be had for a song.

OK I get content; If unsuccessful finding a new unit, I probably have one out back you can use as a loaner.

Thanks guys. After I grab another car or two, I'll start sharing.

Kurt, could be Hi-Performance Hardware on Washington Blvd, at Westover? I've stopped in there a time or two. Old school speed shop.

Yep that is it. Old school is an understatement. Little shop crammed wall to wall and to the ceiling with stuff and only the owner knows where anything is. He has MDS stuff and I have gotten the odd part or two from him over the years.

Man, real sorry to hear your heading out to Cali Bill .
We need more stand up guy's like you over on this coast . You definitely need to keep us updated on your track experiences out west.
Let me know if you need help moving, or packing. I'll be happy to take off your hands any Porsche stuff that you won't be needing, or is too big to pack .
