I heard about the killing before I went out, but missed it's location. After about the 3rd trip down the chute, I was pretty certain that bugger wasn't going to run out in front of me, but I kept checking to make sure.

Minor damage.

Crossbar for left side driving light was cracked & the blacked-out panel (the fake 3rd radiator opening) in the center was knocked in. Plenty of critter hair up in there, so I'm sure the insurance adjuster will consider it a comprehensive claim instead of collision.

Insurance? Good luck to the owner with that. State Farm will exclude anything on the track for me starting May 15. Glad the damage was modest. Groundhogs can be big, and at speed they pack a punch. Glad also there were no deer sightings.

Great week end until after lunch on Sunday. Cold creeped into joints not meant to be cold and couldn't warm up so I packed up and headed home to a warm bed and some hot soup.
If my calendar is correct the next event is in May in Ohio, skipping the HPDC.

i liked the groundhog. felt sorry for him but he sure prevented you from turning in even a little early in the chute for the rest of the session

like others, i froze my ass off... and met some new and soon-to-be new dorkis. redroc (charlie) had a very unusual (b/c it ended well/safe) all-4 off inside of 9. welcome to the party bud!

had a new-to-me experience of avoiding shifting for the entire weekend. shift happens. no shift? yeah... found out my 3rd gear wouldn't 'stay in 3rd' on thursday so each of my sessions went like this: roll through pit in 1st. go through the cones in 2nd. slap it into 4th and judder judder my way around the track for the next 25 mins. fun to not think and only concentrate on the line/avoid scrubbing off too much, while giving td delusions of grandeur by being on my ass out of t1

oh yeah, here are some pics. if you're not here it's b/c i a) don't know you, b) don't know your car, c) didn't shoot any other groups except for white. (not gonna freeze my fingers for more than one session/day and majority of my friends run in white, so that's who i shot )

Hi all, this is Michael Lin. It was great meeting with some of you this weekend. Thanks }{ for a quick introduction. Now I can actually associate some avatars with faces.

Though it was crazy cold, I had a blast. Can't wait for the Zone 2 VIR in a couple of weeks. Like it or not, you guys will see a lot more of me this year
