A friend of mine called me the other day and told me that he knew of a 911sc for sale cheap, so I had to go look at it.
What I know: It is a 1978 911sc with 98K miles on it, it has been sitting for about a year, the engine lost timing and there are a couple broken studs. The owner will take $2500 for the car, or sell the 3.0 motor alone for $500 I did not talk to the owner directly to see if there was any room with the prices. The body is in pretty rough shape and would require some body work and a paint job (color change), and the interior is awful, but the 3.0 motor could be built up into a 914 swap this winter Is this a good deal or should I keep on looking? ~Eric ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
