Default rear 22mm weltmiester adjustable sway bar.

Will this work on my car.
I currently have 22 / 28 torsion bars
22 mm front turbo sway.
I installed the 86 turbo 20mm rear sway and found it is rubbing the transmission mount. The turbo bar has some bends in it. I think to clear the transmission.

I run 22mm front and rear Weltmeister adj. sway bars on my SC. Turbo bars don't fit, as you have found out.

Make sure you re-inforce the mounting plates as well, or you might have trouble down the road.

I was thinking of doing the mounting plates while I have the welder out working on the roll bar install.

Did you make your own sway bar mounting plate reinforcements?
I'm thinking it would be less time and money adding something to the existing then buying the heavy one, cutting and grinding the stock one off and re-welding the new heavy one on. I was also thinking that while I'm welding, why not incorporate a lifting pad for a jack. Ever seen this done?

I'd love a pattern or a picture of what you have.

Do a search on Pelican, there have been a couple good threads on this that included pictures and drawings.

I bought replacement / re-inforced mounts and had a shop install them when they did the rest of the suspension.
