Yeah, the G31 is an odd duck. And even less intuitive with bad synchros. lol.

The alternative is swapping in a 944 transaxle and everything else...

I'd also consider a non-turbo car; I'm also on the lookout for a 87/88 924S.

I've owned a 88 944 and a 86 951 in the past.
