Sticking clutch pedal - '93 C2

Noticed this weekend on first long drive since the '93 C2 arrived in No.Va. that the clutch pedal wasn't always fully returning... however, a slight touch to the pedal (with my foot of course) would always cause the pedal to come back up. I've read elsewhere of two possible causes: gummed up shaft on the do-hickey (technical term) down in the pedal assembly (which I've cleaned tonight) AND a need for the clutch slave cylinder to be flushed and refilled (which I'll attempt Friday). Any other thoughts? All help appreciated. Please be gentle, I'm a newbie owner.

Not specific to Porsches, but whenever I see this I bleed the clutch system. If it still happens I would check the clutch master for binding.

You should bleed your clutch slave regularly. Once you've had to go through installing a new one, you'll be a believer. I bleed my clutch every single time I bleed brakes. It's an extra 5 min. of work then. If that doesn't solve the problem, you could need a new slave and/or master cyl.
