My "new" 84 coupe is being shipped from TX and one of the things that came from the PPI is its going to need new brake pads. The shop said the fronts are at 25% and rears are at 50%. Also has new front rotors that are drilled.
Two questions:
-Should I do all 4...or is having mis-matched pads not necessarily a bad thing? Are 50% pads in the rear acceptable?
-Also, I did a search but couldn't find much - would really appreciate pad suggestions for the car - looking for a good street/track combo pad (more street as I will probably only do 1-2 DE's across the year) w/ little squeal. Not worried about excessive dust as much.
Will have fluid flushed, get alignment, and have the 7's and 9's freshly painted and mounted. Thanks again, will post pics when it arrives.
