Wind and water have long been a very liked.
So I think that such a solution, consistent with their preferences, will be most effective

It is a Venturi vidmil that drives large enough vane pump with sealing ring via water.
Thanks to such a seal, which is not consumed, and it is tight, you can use all the energy that gives us a venturi nozzle of the vacuum produced.. Because the turbine does not have any leaks. So theoretically, this will be the most efficient use of wind...

We can thus take advantage of the vacuum energy, what we get in other ways to obtain it from the wind.

New "turbine" is Liquid Ring Vaccum Pumps

Thanks to the new Heron's Apache we can build a pretty good quality helicopter
http://www.new4stroke.com/Heronsapacheb500.gif
When we begin to design a small personal helicopter similar to this:
http://rotorfx.com/mosquito_experimental_ultralight_helicopters_for_s ale/mosquito_experimental_ultralight_helicopters_for_s ale.htm
We see the need to drive to the main rotor diameter of 18 feet (5.5 meter)
We see the need to drive to the main rotor diameter of 18 feet (5.5 meter) and 540 rpm rotational speeds. To achieve such a speed we could use a torque 800 Nm ( ~ 80 kgm ).
Returning now to the Hero 's Apache, we can assume that the torque on the main propeller tubes produce more than us four propeller.
Let's say that in May they long 3.5 feet (1 meter ). So, as at the end of each of those tubes you put the engine that gives us a sequence of 10 N (2 Lbs) values ??(1kg) it will be added to the rotor torque of 10 Nm (1 kgm)
So four of these tubes with motors will give us a 40 Nm (4 kgm).
Now, assuming that our helicopter will be lighter with a big motor, gears and tail rotor, we can assume that he will need to drive only the main rotor diameter of 600 Nm at, say, 16 feet (4.9 m).
So if we placed the total at the end of the tube Heron's Apache silnki of values ??within 600/40 = 15
15 X 2 lbs = 30 lbs of force within, we get has fully functional helicopter....
As it turns out, these motors have already modelers....

Well, maybe but the full electric version:
These eight electric motors:
http://shop.rc-electric-jets.com/RC-Lander-DPS-120-mm-830kv-12S-Metal-EDF-LEDF120-1A83.htm

Now just: 8 electric motors, ie 2, 3 / 4 Lbs ( 1,35 kg) each battery X 8 pieces = 22Lbs (~ 10 kg) and can fly for 5 minutes. That is 132 lbs ( 66kg ) meringue can fly 30 minutes at full load... Weight of motors is 132 + 16 = 148 lbs (74 kg) fuel + engines.

http://alshobbies.com/shop/lookupstock.php?pc=7178

Weight of the traditional system of propulsion engine of CRE MZ202 is 38 kg, the transmission of about 15 kg, 5 gallons of fuel to the tank about 20 kg, the total weight of 72 kg and the propulsion flight time 1 hour..
When you subtract the tail rotor 20 kg to obtain also a similar range..

http://www.new4stroke.com/mosquito_experimental_ultralight_helicopter_dimens ions.gif

Until you can control the direction of these one additional electric motors, administer, only a little smaller.

And this looks like a traditional electric version of the aircraft

I think that also the propeller airplanes can replenish the idea of Heron's Jet Propeller. The latest toy modelers have superior features, and you may use them for "big air ".
Well let us take a small aircraft engine Rotax 447 to 44 Nm of torque. On the axis of the propeller must gear, have twice as large, ie ~ ~ 100 Nm (10 kgm ). Przytakim driving the propeller with a diameter of 1700 mm will be to spin it properly and give the appropriate string.
So at the end of a single turbine on the arm of Heron 's say a length of 500 mm have a string 200N (20 kg), and two shoulders at 100 N (10 kg). Then we were given the same torque on the propeller, which gives the Rotax engine.
http://www.faston.home.pl/r447.htm
After putting two turbines, modeling of over 10 kg (100 N), we get a replacement Rotax engine.
They even have the parameters several times larger than we need for this example.
Well, the weight of the drive unit will be cheaper too many times, what in aviation is crucial

It turns out that we already have a fairly large selection of gas turbine engines such
http://www.jetcatusa.com/p200.html
http://www.amtjets.com/Titan.php

And of course we have also quite a large number of electric motors to drive the turbines of jet aircraft models, whose parameters are such that we can use them in Heron's propeller well. Their parameters and parameters of the battery used in development Propeller Heron, causes them to become competitive with conventional engines
http://shop.rc-electric-jets.com/RC-Lander-DPS-120-mm-830kv-12S-Metal-EDF-LEDF120-1A83.htm

They can be used in this exemplary model propeller Heron

http://www.new4stroke.com/Heronspropeller500.gif

After viewing a few videos of models turbuny aircraft, I saw that these turbines do not have to be at the end of the model, and may be in the middle, and the aid of additional exhaust pipes just flies out of the model.

JetCat Turbine Kero Start-up - YouTube

From this reason, and my solution also applied this collective pipe, which is separated into 4 and changes the direction of exhaust gas.
Thanks to this, quite seriously improves the design Propellers Heron....

http://www.new4stroke.com/Heronplropellerjet.gif
And weight in relation to the Rotax is 10 times less...
So that is similar in other much larger propeller propulsion system also...

Surely you will need to test them in practice, before se makes the right decisions as to the shape of the structure of the drive.

I was with my friends in the Museum of aviation again. "I'd like him to show this demo in which the effect of the vacuum State at the top of the wings, which blows the wind from the fan, the ball is sucked in by a transparent tube

provided in the middle of the wings and a peg that pops up on the wing.

Doing this experience again, so your friend can see it, I am surprised that the ball a is NOT sucked in tube!!

It is that this experience has been vandalized, and the ball is sucked on

Vandalized based on this, with a transparent tube to the bottom was several times the seeds.

But this was not the reason for the lack of vacuum in the tube.
After arrives home, thoroughly by looking at the about the well running the show.

Redbaron2 - YouTube

I noticed that the tube on the film extends over the upper surface of the wings have 70 mm
The vandalizet show the tube was brought down to equality with the upper surface of the wing.
And this was the main reason for the lack of vacuum in the tube !
Simply air her upper surface of the wing, when it encounters a simple hole in the wing, just get it and seeking to keep the pipes, eliminates any vacuum in it.!!

That is, that the ball could be the suck by the vacuum arising at the top of the wings, in this case the pipe must extend over the upper surface of the wing by about 70 mm !!!

When this tube does not extend, this does not transmit its down this vacuum, even in the smallest degree.

Why is this, explain the following drawings:

http://www.new4stroke.com/wingpipe.jpg

http://www.new4stroke.com/wingright.jpg

http://www.new4stroke.com/airfoil.jpg

Yes so we are one of the one cases where due to vandalism, we fully the specificities of of the Red Baron Windmill...

According to estimates, the surface of the wing of a 100 m square, with a wind speed of 30 km\/h can produce approximately 750 KG lift.
To get 100 KG of thrust of the propeller to the ultralight trike, the engine must have a power of about 50 KW
You can take also denied that the 100 KG over da US 50 KW electrical Dynamo.
Which had managed to seize the entire lift such 100 m ^ 2 wings which is 750 KG, a power Dynamo would be 300 KW.

The Windmill of the Red Baron 100 m x 30 m = 3000 m ^ 2 and this will give us the 9000 KW.

Now you can build 10 such wings one above with which 30000 m ^ 2 = 90 MW.

No and now depends on how many% of this theoretical power we capture this lift and exchange it into electrical current.

Star engines were characterized biggest always force density

http://www.new4stroke.com/starhalfrotate5.gif

http://www.new4stroke.com/elastic%20hose.jpg

Below picture of the star half rotate around 10 (40) with "cylinders". for the transparency of the picture one can see only 3 additional "cylinders" more than is at the animated film.
One can also see dimensions of the whole of the engine in the assumption that every cylinder has such dimensions for the picture half rotate with the set connecting rod of the Sulzer D= engine of 900 mm and stroke 2500 mm .

http://www.new4stroke.com/half10.jpg

So 10 (40) "cylindrical" engine half rotate about the same working capacity in comparing to the Sulzer 10 engine cylindrical on the picture below .

Sulzer: 10 Cylinders 20 m long , 15 m hight , 1500 Ton weight

Half rotate star : 10(40) "Cylinders" 4,5 m diameter , 4,5 m long
about 70 ton weight.

http://www.new4stroke.com/sulzer1.jpg

And most importantly.. Since in the engine half rotate mass innertia are several times Sulzer smaller than in the engine, engine half rotate can work with the much greater rotation speed.
Slzer : 102 RPM 60 000 KW

Half rotate 250 RPM 150 000 KW

In same intake work volume .

And now, the efficiency of the engine, due to the friction of the walls of the cylinder to rise about 5%. That is, it is the most efficient machine for the heat, whose efficiency exceeds 50% of the.

I wonder if to ask if these two smiling at us men to graciously evacuated their asses out of this car, it would be possible instead of carriage them to produce some electricity for us? Since drivers are not needed, because the car is harnessed to the treadmill and drivin in circles .. But one thing is certain, that such a vehicle driving the external energy, we will have the wind, regardless of the weather ... AJ is here the energy produced is sufficient to maintain the treadmill speed, it will be good .... And maybe even a few kilowatts for us is for our use ....
And it is always, regardless of the weather ... I do not need to go to the desert to breaking records. This can be done on the treadmill near the house...

As I see massive construction that are to demolish the building of Reactor No. 3 is me shivers go ..
Certainly the building suffered the most, because it was the biggest explosion. So the walls are certainly very weak, and it seems to me that the water in the pool of fuel remains a miracle there is to do there can not be inspected, that does not mean that the building is sturdy ..
Therefore, demolition should in my opinion not cause additional shocks, and be carried out as gently as possible ... Heavy construction equipment, rather they should not be used ...
They are after all modern methods, such as cutting concrete with water. The company offers cutting up to 3 meters ..

I do not want to think what would have happened, if as a result of the vibrations, the resulting leaks in the fuel pool and the water came out of it ... Almost as a result of radiation inside the building and its three filling remains, you can not to re-seal it. ..

Therefore, even mild disturbances such methods may be used: diamond cut rope ..

Once again, I will return to produce electricity for the help of the MHD generator. Everything is locally renowned roughly on the subject presented here.
http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/357424/magnetohydrodynamic-power-generator

From other sources I found out that the biggest difficulty was to obtain high stability of our power. But today, thanks to patent my friend, who at the end of the 60 lived in Krakow and was in the same club as me HAM. Station club had prefix SP9KHR and I ran as the transmitter of surplus U.S. - BC-610. My good friend, Tadeusz Bator, efficiently assisted me in this work and launched a SSB transmitter power of 1 kW at the club. A colleague at the beginning of the 70 he emigrated to Sweden. There, in 1982 received a U.S. patent on the device that we now effectively helps in achieving sustainable energy sources .. This is the patent as the inventor:
https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=www.google.com/patents/US4371917.pdf

Now this version of the microprocessor is very popular, and we can easily obtain current, high stability of the MHD generator. It's an old idea with a new face ..

To be economically competitive, a coal-fired power station would have to combine an MHD generator with a Termionic generator in what is termed a binary cycle. The hot gas is first passed through the MHD generator (a process known as topping) and then on to the termionic of agenerating plant (the bottoming phase).
The third system is a framework for jet engine jet gases coming from the double thermal cycle. All three components are mounted, as in the classic treadmill, and drive generators disposed on the rotation axis, or to the external parts of the treadmill....
An MHD power plant employing such an arrangement is will known as an" open-three cycle".

One part of the reply to "when", is for example the case of such a drag, "windmill". Under normal conditions, standing statically on the ground windmill his case at all practically drag, we do not care, because we have any number of fan blowing on the wind. And now the resistance front, as will be larger, only the rigidity of its mounting must also be greater. Practically the value of the resistance front, even if it is larger, a large amount of available free of wind, makes no need to worry, we have the resistance front .... But from the moment when the "wind", we begin to produce, for example, an electric motor car, it is known that the resistance front "fans" will have a major impact on the amount of electricity needed to maintain a speed of "wind" (car). . Know that the windmill of "hole in the middle" will have less resistance. and even the shape of the hole to be similar to the airfoil wing, his leading the resistance may be at the level of resistance of this air wing and have even just 10% of the resistance of a flat plate, with the same profile section ... If it is only 10% of the and the amount of energy required to achieve this speed "wind" (car) will also be at the level of 10% of the energy needed to overcome the resistance of a planar face. So that is one of the first steps to reduce our price lunch, is the study of our "fan" in the wind tunnel in terms of the reduction of the resistance front, just what it is in their cars and their coefficient Cx

You can see that at higher speeds, the propeller can be very small ..

http://www.new4stroke.com/Gripen.JPG

As you can see the propeller drive in serious applications
So may be small and of recognition, a lot of power to control such a large fighter, because at higher speeds the propeller is more efficient. Its efficiency according to the speed increases up to the third power in the dependency ..

The fan produces but a small fraction of the needed power to control the aircraft. It is intended to help regain/maintain level flight in a dead stick condition so the pilot can punch out safely and does not produce "a lot of power" How does efficiency go up with increased speed? Power produced might go up but efficiency might not.

On another forum:

If you had even a basic understanding of engineering, you wouldn't feel that way.

Feliks has the sort of naive ideas that "environmentalists" have when they make sweeping generalizations about how doing X will save the world.

These designs are hair brained and outlandish, at best, with very little utility in the real world.

That small prop on the airplane is a small generator that powers the hydraulic and navigation software. Yes, when you are flying 500mph, you can generate 10hp by coasting. You WILL NOT power an entire city with the same principle and a 1' dia prop unless you are traveling at the speed of light.

I would LOVE to see some actual calculations. Math is math. Anyone with math skills should be able to read and interpret his calcs. Post those and I'll give him some credit. Until then, this guy is yelling the bible aloud from the street corner.

All right, we'll use the math ...
At the beginning of your data correct some of the aircraft speed. If it is to be an emergency control of the airplane, that's for sure, it must be to enable the load, ie the propeller must give sufficient power, as you have specified about 10 HP power control ... It's just that the aircraft lands at a speed of 220 km / h, and it must work perfectly yet. Propeller has a diameter of about 30 cm.

part no 9 :
http://www.temporal.com.au/viggen_final.pdf

Well now using venturi calculator, count the venturi nozzle, which is in its narrowest point is 300 mm, so that the propeller be able to run when inserted into it. As you have specified, at the speed of 220 km / h it will give the 10 Hp.
I asked to facilitate the original input parameter of the nozzle diameter to 1000 mm (1m). her throat identified on the 300 mm. There's a quiet propeller would seem to shoot ... Here are the results of this calculator venturi ... input speed is 25km / h and the speed of the throat is 284 km / h, which is significantly more than the 220 km / h landing ... So we should calmly from the propeller to obtain these 10 Hp power ....

http://www.new4stroke.com/vent5.jpg

http://www.new4stroke.com/vent7.jpg

http://www.new4stroke.com/vent8.jpg

http://www.new4stroke.com/vent9.jpg

Now you should do such an experience (or as you have enough imagination you can not do): You have to cut out some plywood, or flat plates made of plastic, and cut out the circle with a diameter of 1000 mm (1m). So cut the wheel, you have to fasten themselves to the chest or his back. It should then get on the bike, and try to accomplish this on a bicycle pedaling speed of 25 km / h. I think it lets you easily measure .. A man riding a bicycle is not achieved by 1 Hp ... but quietly get this rate, the pinned wheel with a diameter of 1 m.
This wheel has the same, or even greater air resistance as a venturi nozzle with a diameter of 1 meter original input. But this gives us the nozzle throat, as he You noted about 10 Hp, because in the throat, the air flows at a rate ~ 10 times greater than the speed of Input, or 280 km / h.,
And the propeller can give us the 10 HP. It is 10 times more than we can give strength to propel the bike with the circular wheel strapped to us. I think that in order to achieve a speed of 25 km / h, we do not need more than 300 watts .... So, if the bike mount the front section of the nozzle 1000 mm, it will get the 10 Hp in her throat on the propeller and drive the bike with the nozzle to a speed of 25 km / h, we only need 300 watts ..

I think the only thing I have left is to wait for your points ...

Andrew;)

I've got a bit of fiberglass and pvc pipe ine the garage.. What dimensions of venturi would I need to have, for a "windmill" electric generator, if the average windspeed in my area is 10-15 mph?

No thank you, finally, for a very specific question. Because of this specific not yet had my manual is not yet complete. But a few important tips I can already provide, for a good while I'm thinking about it already....

http://www.new4stroke.com/vent5.jpg
First units 10 and 15 miles is 16 km / h - 24 km / h or 4.5 m / s to 6.75 m / s

Now I think that should do the nozzle of the same size and calculations as in my post # 345.

Now this: the witrze 15 miles in the throat nozzle of dimensions we will have theoretical speed 167 miles (270 km / h) .. the valve on the power of the fan is due at the speed we can get even theoretically about 20 Hp

to get the power from the electric generator, you must already quite large in size,. I could barely fit for him to die in his throat. and it completely obscured. It must therefore be outside the nozzle and be driven by a toothed belt from the propeller., and this is the biggest problem.

Same cones and these dimensions can all be done the hard styrofoam by cutting the thermal cutting CNC polystyrene. Most important thing is that the external surface of the cone must be round, full, of the 1000 mm dimension. Theses external surface of the throat must have the dimension. So that the air nozzle was skipping necessarily the way to the straight line, otherwise may not have a good performance at all. All these figures are just patterns of cones. The figure pointed to the red line is the nozzle look like on the outside.

http://www.new4stroke.com/Venturi1000a.jpg

Why is it important to air bypassing the nozzle on the outside was the shortest path in a straight line? not because I'm imagining that the venturi nozzle is so very close to collapse like a normal airplane wing over and over. its aerodynamics will surely like this over and over again folded wings. wing and best for low speed is the lower edge of a straight line. here shown theoretically how to wrap the wing sites. Now Lifting force of this wing will also "wrapped" inside, creating a negative pressure in the whole nozzle .....

I believe you have Solidworks.

Do you have simulation? I suggest that you test your venturi tube in simulation, and see how the flow works, and how the airflow inside the initial parallel part of the tube does not match the freestream air.

Unfortunately, I was no longer Solidworks for some time .. I Personal Edition 2004, but this version does not support more ... I tried to run a demo in 2012 but received three different serial numbers SW unfortunately no accepted ...
Even so, I'm thinking that the simulation nothing new has been brought to. There is one question that should be answered. Is there an amplifier, which amplifies, without any energy supply from the outside ...
Obviously it is.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phonograph

Edison applied it to his phonograph. Without a large conical tubes, the phonograph mined only very difficult to hear the sound. after adding the tube pfonograf game quite loud. So there is an amplifier that amplifies, without any external energy supply. Exactly in the same way all the wind instruments amplify sound mouthpiece. Despite the mouthpiece is similar in all instruments, they are depending on the size of reinforcing a particular frequency, the bass tuba to the trumpet. So we have the next examples amplifiers without additional energy from the outside ....
We just reinforces the venturi nozzle, and is arguably, even though it may be one like it, while others are not ..
Also the plane, which is heavier than air can fly, when his wings around a laminar flow. When the parameters are come forth out of the possible formation of his lack causes that the plane drops like a stone to the ground .. Certainly anyone experienced this building a variety of model airplanes, some of which would not fly ... So you need some piety that everything went well.

Therefore, teeth sprite is activated, the air speed gain amplifier in the venturi, laminar flow to keep it. There should be understood that a laminar flow can not have a strong whirled air. An excellent example is a laminar flow in a plane that has the wings of the propeller engines. . Spite of strong turbulence behind the propeller, wing has a laminar flow conditions and wing create lift for the aircraft.

Also in the venturi nozzle, air turbulence on the turbine dynamo driven machine located in the throat nozzle will cause no disturbance of laminar flow resulting from Bernoulli's law

Anyway venturi nozzle is amplified wind speed, without any energy supply from outside.

Feliks - maybe you should make a helicopter version - a venturi/RAT assembly on each rotor tip with the electricity generated driving the main rotor motor. The faster the rotor spins - the more power is generated by the venturi/RAT assemblies causing the main rotor to spin ever faster - and so on. You would have to be careful the rotor didn't overspeed - but it's a bloody good idea.

You know, I also like the idea .. But is the propeller helicopter vibrations will not fall as a result of the weights on the ends of the propeller? But the speed would be staggering ..

I think there may be a way of getting around Betz' Law - as least to some extent. I should point out that what I am suggesting is not a plan to build a practical wind turbine - just a theoretical idea for capturing a greater percentage of the energy of a fixed cross-sectional area of wind than that allowed by Betz.
The idea simply is that (as I interpret the Law) Betz' Law applies only to a single stage turbine. If a series of turbines were placed in a duct similar to that shown in the first drawing of the Wiki article on Betz' Law - the duct expanding in area after each turbine to allow for the reduced velocity of the wind. The 40% of energy that gets past the first turbine has 60% captured, the 24% that gets past the second turbine has 60% captured by the third turbine and so on. Each turbine obeys Betz but overall the energy gathered is greater than that allowed by Betz and his bloody Law.

There often seems to be a way to get around the various basic laws of the universe (at least to some extent) without actually contradicting the laws. The point I am trying to make that it is not always a totally hopeless case to attempt something like Feliks is trying to do (but his idea won't work).

Did somebody else on this forum suggest this basic idea - or did I hallucinate it?

I think that you gave a very good another example, the Betz "law "should be related but very skeptical. And it's a practice that we may work better for our imagination ... I can not but agree with the fact that my idea does not work. The images shown by me wings with a small fan, is the prototype shown in the "straight" Venturi nozzle. I assure you that with the right wind speed is very small fan rotates very quickly. Had he been exposed to the same wind without the help of the "straight" venturi nozzle, would not even be able to slowly rotate, because the relatively low wind, so little fan is not able to produce enough energy to overcome their resistance to motion. I have given, on which the profile is built, this "venturi nozzle straightened" so anyone can repeat the experience and see for yourself if it works. I was convinced and that is why I shared this information. Windmill used in the prototype rotor has a diameter of just 35 mm, the hub of which is as much as 19 mm in diameter. Even though it is "crippled" by a shoulder, shook actually fast. And he was inside the car, where the wind was not blowing at all ... Blowing in the wind wings creates a high vacuum. precisely because of this vacuum planes are flying, though is heavier than air a I are exactly the same negative pressure arising wing uses negative pressure not to fly, but to produce energy. And everyone knows that the negative pressure is created on the wing as it blows in the wind, so that so far only been used for flying plane, and will now also for the production of energy from wind. And there is no argument that it is "not working" because everyone can see that the plane is flying and a windmill, affixing to it as a vacuum cleaner, also rotates .. So a combination of both of these facts is possible, and certainly works. And there are no hallucinations. A "right" Betz who wants to talk about energy bypassing the mass, one has to such a process of its formation nohow ...
I greet those who are not afraid to have an open mind.

The goal there is not efficiency in any shape or form. Many ludicrous geometries will generate power from wind, the problem in the real world is to do so while maximising the energy output per dollar of capital invested, or some other efficiency measure.

Yes, the technical entertainment is watching these precise mechanisms as well get the job done ....
Here shown in the video in slow motion, which is used for making the valve at high engine speed. It behaves like a ballet dancer at the Grand Theatre. For this reason, it is just nods, not quite exactly the closed space of the cylinder, as shown in the film, as is reflected from the valve seat a few times, of course, does not give the required seal ... Considering that there are two valves, intake and exhaust, almost always either open or just a reflection of the valve seat ... The precision of the charge exchange and obtained the pressure inside the cylinder, it can be said that there is no .... ... Practically a huge part of the energy goes out, instead of being converted into work ... In addition, more than 100 years trying to improve it, but have run out of opportunities to improve the timing mechanism, which can be clearly seen in the video ... The addition of the "pitching" , valves often simply break off and fall into the cylinder. Such frequent event seen in the second movie ....
My way new4stroke timing is more precise than a Swiss watch, and of the tightness of a total of several times better than that of a conventional ... Now you can see where does this "extraordinary power" in my engine. Just a whole load of turns to work, at any engine speed, which is several times more than the conventional engine .. ^ you are missing out on the simple fact that this method of moving heat from one place to another is about as poor as they come. "100% efficiency"? What are you smoking? There are few if any devices that use more energy to move a BTU of heat than a Ranque-Hilsch vortex tube tube. 1700 BTU @ 25 CFM is about standard in the over the counter market. 25 cfm cont is right around 15HP compressor and that does not even take int accont the air chiller you will need to condition the air befor sttorage ether. I can make well over 10 times the BTUs with a standard chiller. 1700 btu is a tiny little home air conditioner. 15 HP of modern chiller would chill a mansion in AZ. Ranque-Hilsch vortex tubes are just stupid loud too.

Why would you use PV a compressor and then a Ranque-Hilsch vortex tube tube with each step loosing huge amounts of energy? I have used vortex tubes and even built one. They are cool to tinker with and have a very limited window of use that is not eclipesed by other better methods. 20K watts of PV might move an ice cubes worth of heat. You could use PV to drive a modern and well made standard chiller and chill a large volume of water into ice or chill a large volume of water/glycol mix and use it when you need it? Oh wait, that is already a fully formed and in use method that is proven to save money and work well over the long term. I can stor a large volume of super chilled water or block ice in simple insulated tanks. storing large volumes of compressed air is not so simpple and not safe.

Carry on...

Ok , Ok ,100% is just that the assignment is to gather a long time, if it will be tight, it is totally recovered, not so as, for instance hydrogen, which escapes through the walls of us
It's just an idea by the way, I know it's not very effective, but simple ... But the truck or bus, how goes it has excess compressed air ... can be for heating or cooling the interior exploit ..

Glider Jantar 1 :

maiden flight: 13.05.1972

wingspan: 19 m

wing profile: Fx-67 K-170 > Fx-67 K-150

own weight: 295 (+3) kg

total weight: 417 kg /515 kg (with the ballast)

The load area: 27,7 kG/m2/34,2 kG/m2 (with the ballast)

excellence: 47 at 95 km/h

the rate of descent: 0,50 m/s przy 75 km/h

minimum speed.: 60 km/h

Speed ??limit(Vne): 245 (230 with the ballast) km/h

Winch pulls the glider at the height of 1000 m. As one of the manufacturers of these winches such a cycle consumes 0.3 kg of fuel ....
The perfect glider = 47, a half-ton glider at the speed of 95 km / h while flying in a straight line, beat 47 km. or two such cycles, that is, 0.65 kg of fuel, it should run up ... 100 km at a speed of 95 km / h....

I'll be damned if I do't ask myself this question every day! Seriously, why IS rufous man clog ears????

I'm happy to be asking about this state of affairs is more ..

Maybe there is a part of the answer ..

Now you can go back to my engine project new4stroke that you very much approve of ..

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engine_efficiency

Friction[edit source | editbeta]

An engine has many moving parts that produce friction. Some of these friction forces remain constant (as long as applied load is constant); some of these friction losses increase as engine speed increases, such as piston side forces and connecting bearing forces (due to increased inertia forces from the oscillating piston). A few friction forces decrease at higher speed, such as the friction force on the cam's lobes used to operate the inlet and outlet valves (the valves' inertia at high speed tends to pull the cam follower away from the cam lobe). Along with friction forces, an operating engine has pumping losses, which is the work required to move air into and out of the cylinders. This pumping loss is minimal at low speed, but increases approximately as the square of the speed, until at rated power an engine is using about 20% of total power production to overcome friction and pumping losses.

And now this. My engine new4stroke is the most vital advantage, even though it does not appear on any animation ..
Many people have spoken out about the efficiency of four-stroke engine, was stating with such engine already reached peaks of efficiency possible, and to get it to improve by 2% "The great issue" about three bilion dollars a year on research ..
Because they thought impossible, that you can make a difference when it comes to basic parameter or friction, which presented the current position of Wikipedia.
Meanwhile, my engine, changing the ratio of friction to the size of the intake air through the engine. So, but it's something that everyone seemed so far out that is constant and unchanging.
And here's the joke ... my engine, even though it is built on a base the size of a two-cylinder engine, 600 ccm, geometrically speaking, sucks about 950 ccm ... (in fact much greater).
So as if normal engine but with an additional 3 1/6 cylinder .. but the cylinder does not. This increase in the displacement give only two intake valves piston located in the cylinder head. And there may be nothing revolutionary, were it not that these pistons with rods they turn TWO TIMES slower than the basic pistons ... In connection with this, the force of inertia, which is realized as the additional volume (350 ccm) are swept up four times smaller (which I also take into account the Wikipedia)
So in general we can say that this "extra cylinder", if it could be adjoined to the basic operating system of the twice the speed, with the same parameters as the pistons sucking friction should have only 88 cc. So the difference 350 - 88 = 262 ccm, otzymujemy for free, with my engine system ... We can say that in relation to its basic size 600 ccm. Friction has been reduced by as much as 43%. suction against displacement in the traditional way ...
With modesty will not ask where my 43/2 x 3000000000000 = 64 bilon $ .... which do not have the "Great" lecture every year on the 2% increase in efficiency ....

And the real efficiency gain can be easily demonstrated mathematically ...

http://www.new4stroke.com/efficiecy.jpg

And of course, what Daniel suggested must take place within the limits of reasonable operation of the engine...

I can understand a lot, even that can be
stunned silence, but not for so many years ...

Also understand that it may be hard to admit to the fact that I thought differently, but I think that should be a hit in the chest and publicly admit to mistakes. Because we all now see that the PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE engine can zoom in on a lot of ...

I think it is a step by step to resolve these problems, but probably need to order, then it will be easier for us to understand next.

Peltier I started to deal with in 1993, in a small laboratory scale. In the following years I did in the mid-scale laboratory I made such a demonstration, where the yen element size 50mmm x50mm is placed on an aluminum bracket, on the other hand, covered with a copper plaque, located to the heat from a finger could easily trickle out over the entire surface of the ceramic peltier.

peltier finger - YouTube

Also done once a thermometer measuring the wireless side of aluminum and copper hand when I touched her finger. It turned out that the temperature difference was only 2 to 3 degrees Celsius, and has to show voltage of tens of millivolts, as a result of the heat of the finger ... Despite the fact that we do not need to produce electricity already heated water, replace it on steam, drive turbines ing or reciprocating engine, then the generator, electricity can receive this very simple method and a minimum temperature difference ..
Well, for example, temperature 2 meters under the ground and air temperature of 30 degrees Celsius .. The outside can be also negatynie 20 degrees Celsius, and the resulting current changes polarity only ... And here again joke .. The greater this negative temperature, the greater the difference in the temperature of 2 meters below the surface (about 7 degrees)and you get more power .. so I dreamed we would have this .. the bigger the frost, we have more energy ..And here the principle of T1-T2 / T1 does not look to the end was a real .... For where, for example, we have in the way of the physical size of the time? because there is a fundamental difference if you have time 0.01 sec or 10000 sec .... a rhetorical question ...

Here, the current version of the flathead engine

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flathead engine

And here is my version, but strangely drawn ..

http://www.new4stroke.com/dolnozaworowy1.jpg

The wikipedia is written with the maximum degree of pairing can get a 7: 1 And this is the fundamental flaw in the solution. Therefore, this low level of compression is because the valves need to have a place in the head to be able to go in and open up. In my constructs, valves (pistons) opening up, regress to the crankcase, so the head can be completely flat, without going into the notches on the valves. With a completely flat head, the compression ratio we receive in my design, possible 27: 1 It is a circuit are adequate for spontaneous combustion - diesel engine, which takes about 18: 1 compression ratio. So you can make the First Diesel Engine in the World with flat head ....

Also will not need to divide the block and heads, because my valves (pistons) can be loaded also from the crankcase, rather than the traditional valves from the head, so when the engine submission is possible in this way, the division heads and engine block becomes redundant. You can perform when the engine entirely from one piece, except for very an emergency head gasket and bolt heads that secure critical

Surely you can create a flow of water to cool the reactors and pools, which will be held between the radiated heat exchanger reactor cooling water and the tank and clean water cooler .. then irradiated water will return to the cooling of the reactor, and there will need to be storable. Only the top up, if there are any leaks in the reactors and fuel pools .. However, pure water can be cooled by large air coolers and passed through a heat exchanger ..

Well after that our mourning have something on the front ..
No. So designing a good amplifier that amplifies much is not simple and easy ..
Here, it's about the type amplifier wind instruments. On this page, the instruments are charts that say the sound intensity can vary over a range frequencies with as much as 6 dB.,. This large difference is due to raw material from which it is made ??instrument, with the same shape.

http://www.acoustics.org/press/133rd/2amu4.html

If we want to get a change of size (volume) using a classic amplifier-loudspeaker system is to get the 6 dB of sound, we need to use as much as 4 times greater electrical power, not, for example, 50 watt, well, up to 200 watts .. Up so much growth in sound, as it turns out, it gives us the right material for the trumpet ..

https://ccrma.stanford.edu/CCRMA/Courses/152/SPL.html#SECTION00037300000000000000

http://www.globalrph.com/master_speaker.htm

Yes, we can easily lose with this energy gain, as we will use the wrong material ....

Now the one of the simplest experiments of physics ..
It is a "kitchen an experiment." We take two tablespoons can be of tea or soup. Take them by their ends and bringing together bellies ... Between tummy wpuszczmy very small stream of water. I bet that you will not be able to maintain a 2 mm gap between them ...
We can also repeat the experiment horizontally, so that the speed of the fluid force is created ..

With time on holidays, this Yoda even sent a picture from NASA Simulator, explaining many things ...
Oh yes you can see that the lift force (lift) is three times greater than the resistance (drag) the wings .... The diagram shows that the velocity profile at 25% is almost 3 times higher on average .. The purple line on the graph .. The green line is the wind speed .. Yellow is the speed of the lower side profile .. Wind speed is 15 km / h ... At the start of a profile is almost 50 km / h ... Such profiles should have the Red Baron Windmill (spoon too) ..

http://www.new4stroke.com/velocity%20meter.jpg

http://www.new4stroke.com/velair.jpg

If the speed is increased by three times, then by using dual such a system, we can get about 9 times Increased speeds the wind that blows on the system .. it is worthwhile to do so .. Well of course, because in the formula for Velocity windmill power plays up to the third power, it is possible to obtain power .. no examples listed here .. for 5 m / s .. Windmill with a diameter of 100 meters are 2,000 KW us .. Now if we take a larger representation rate 9 times that or 45 m / s, it is already at 10 meters in diameter windmill get 2,300 KW. ie the same windmill is ten times smaller .. the rest of the structure is virtually immobile and will not be higher than 50 meters .. as follows from theoretical calculations.'s say the length of the building is 100 m, which can fit 10 windmills in it .. theoretically get 23 MW at a wind speed of 5 m / s.
But of course we can use the Windmill Red Baron ..

Well, here , a movie that shows that " spoon effect" is possible to obtain a large area, no such model of the wing , set " bellies " to each other. Between the wings , air is blown using an ordinary hair dryer .. The second part of the film , you will see that blowing this way only one wing , we can feel the hand , there is some lift of the wing . Simply it is so microscopic that it can not feel , despite the fact that once we're blowing on the wing , then do not . I do not feel any difference. The reason is also that the air dryer has a very low speed, and it is relatively very little ..
However, as we hold as two wings . set ' bellies to each other, and kept at one end , the other end , a very intense vibration , bouncing off each other, as a result of blowing the hair . the film do not really see these vibrations because their speed is high , as the camera does not records so quickly. records and revealed that the image of " waving wings. " In a time while also heard the " clack " of themselves striking the wings .. so attractive force them to each other must be large, as seems the powerful sound of beats between them. wing to descend , and then diverge , and again, there are withdrawal force with each wing , and so the circle. But fairly quickly , despite the relatively large area of ??the wings in relation to a small air stream flowing between them ..
In any case , it is this force several times to each side of the Astringent greater than the lift of a single wing , which you can not even feel that there is in these conditions ..

Here a further explanation of why dual Red Baron can give at 100km / h about 300 mm of mercury vacuum. .. . ..
Here is a pdf of the classical venturi air, and why is it used double nozzle.

http://www.new4stroke.com/Venturitubes1937.pdf

http://www.new4stroke.com/vent37.jpg

And now, what are the parameters of the two nozzles that you can buy .. of similar size
The first nozzle gives 4 inches (101 mm Hg) of vacuum of mercury and has a length of 10 inches.

http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/inpages/venturi2.php

The second nozzle gives up 9cali (228 mm Hg) of mercury vacuum, and the length is 11 1/4 inch. That is 11% plus growth in vacuum and lengths are more than 100% .. That depends on the vacuum from a very proper way to design the nozzle ..

http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/inpages/venturi3.php

Similarly, the need to design a properly configured dual Windmill Red Baron to repair the effects were good.
Here you can not scoff case.
The rest will depend on the size of the system..

There was an article on NPR on the drive in about a Petrobras project to build three large (up to 2 square kilometers each) offshore platforms for oil rig logistical support. With that much undulating surface area under basically one roof maybe you should propose a KERS-like energy recovery system using your venturi model placed in vertical pipes throughout the platform. Since they are talking about digitally controlled ballast management tied to wave detection devices perhaps this could serve as both an energy source and a meter.

Practical design elements are left as an exercise for the reader.

My idea of all the tanks of salt water, to build on the high coast of the sea, is very safe and resistant to the threat of terrorism .. Now we see the picture, the upper lake with an area of 1.2 km sqare .. gives you energy for 8 hours, 700 MW ... or 24 hours it would have to be 3.6 km sqare ..
Imagine this upper lake measuring 8 km x 8 km = 64 km sqare ..

One should not apply foam in rooms closed tightly. Resistance to UV rays weak in outside applications one should shelter the surface of foam from the UV radiation. Structure of cells of c 70 % smoothed, evenly closed cells thermal Resistance after hardening from – 40 ° C to + 90 ° C (short-term to + 140 ° C)

15 bottle give 1 m^3 (1000 litres) cost about 80 $ , this can swimm 1 tones

Tupolew 142 have 80 ton weight 80 x 15 = , need 1200 pieces bottles this foam .

All cost of foam 80 x 80 $= 6400 $.
Whole weight of the foam to allow the total buoyancy such an airplane is 1200 KG
It is only 1% of the total weight of the aircraft.

Wig area is 311 m^2 , 80 m^3/ 312 m^2 = 0,25 m the average amount of surface foam on the inside wings. I think that in this plane is so much unused space.

And such buoyancy of the aircraft would also be found useful for Airbus over the Atlantic, as well as the Boening over Hudson.

Andrew,

I subscribe to this thread and have always enjoyed your posts, so keep them going.

Regarding the use of foam to prevent aircraft from sinking when lost at sea, I don’t have the statistics, but anecdotally, I assume that most deaths are not due to drowning, but due to impact, or other high energy violent endings. I believe the scenarios you are discussing likely have adequate solutions in place (life rafts, etc.).

I think an excellent area for the use of that type of foam would be in help reduce the death toll for passenger and roll on/off ferry accidents. These seem to happen in rough seas, or in overcrowding conditions with sometimes large loss of life.

By education , I am Eng. mechanic. But I dealt with making the sound at concerts my apparatus .. It so happened that a few times , even ten times , I made a concert in Gdansk Shipyard Hall (which is then burned )
http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Po%C5%BCar_w_hali_Stoczni_Gda%C5%84skiej .
We have always had a pass to the shipyard , because the entrance to the hall was the scene from the side yard. I as the driver of the car, after a few hours of driving , I've always had a break , and my employees were unloading acoustic equipment and lined it . I have two hours of free time , and this pass, always walked across the yard and spied on how the technology of shipbuilding . Often talked with employees who explained to me the various ins and outs of building ships . Then I met shipbuilding quite accurately , because she was always very interested mechanics ... Then I came to realize concert .. With these trips , I know how much free space is on a big ship . Here I present figure of the ferry , which sink .. Knowing its importance , which is 6800 tons , and subtracting approximately 1,500 tons , steel, wood , fuel , and such a variety can displace water , leaves us to displace the water about 5300 tons. , And then ship will not drown .. an average of 5300 tonnes divided by the length of the vessel is 146 meters = one meter will fall an average of 36 tons. so much water should displace to get afloat .. Now the height of each side of the free spaces submerged to 2 x 10 meters. .. For the average 15 meters wide double bottom .. together gives us 35 running meters , part of the flotation technique around the ship ( floating section ) .. So enough that the average thickness of 1 m polystyrene foam , applied to each inner metal shell of the ship , provided the to always buoyancy of the ship .... only 1 meter thick ..

http://www.new4stroke.com/Ferry.jpg

When it comes to airplanes, it also thoroughly know their structures .. In carrying about 1,000 concerts in the former Soviet Union, every change of concerts, took place only airplanes * Once was a car, but I said 'never again' J. I had to upilnowania 40 boxes with equipment weighing about 3 tons .. Always, as soon as possible, guarding the proper loading and unloading, personally entered the baggage compartments, aircraft, whom the trip was .. And these were the aircraft from AN2 to Il 82 all types which were in the Soviet Union .. So exactly what I learned there are opportunities. And I know that a lot of them too .. Especially as it applies molded styrofoam possible to remove, to do the service ..

There s also the issue of internal inspection of the tanks. All the regulatory authorities require internal visual inspections of the tanks and pressure testing through the life of the ship, and Ultra Sonic thickness testing of the steel plates, how can you do any of these things if the tank has been pumped full of foam?

If the Hull is damaged and a section of damaged steel has to be cut out and new steel welded in, what happens to the foam?

Lots of practical difficulties.

Wool absorbs water very quickly ..Surely you would need to develop now and again a special material, teeth had been closed and not soaked with water. and was close to the damping properties of wool. And now the strangest thing .. On the screen shots from the simulator to the airfoil published by NASA, pointed red frame so strange two values that can be set on the simulator .. Namely, in terms of drag and lift. and would not have believed in their value, if not the simulator, which included such a serious company like NASA .. In the first image you can see that the drag is set to 21 Newton.Lift has until 244 Newton .... So for the help of a smaller force is a much more powerful .. Something with anything ... this force is with 11.6 times greater than the resistance (drag).

In the second figure also drag is 12 Newtons, and lift 191 Newtons .. ie with 15.9 times greater ..
I think that these simulations are accurate ..
Now, if even half of the value obtained for lift holding strength to produce the drug's effects, it would lift force will be very high ... So we use 85 Newtons of lift to overcome the resistance (drag) 12 Newtons. that is enough for us to capture power efficiency, and conversion to drag about 14%. (eg rotary vane pump + propeller). I think it is really to do with such a small sufficient efficiency .. So the system can move itself by overcoming drag and float in the air At 85 Newtons lift .. I guess that NASA is wrong ...
So says the theory .....

can be several such pairs of wings with several compartments assemble and put on the ends of the pipes that supersede the broken windmill propeller .. There, at the end of the speed will be about 1 Mach .. Now you are at the disposal of the entire lift (lift) or how to get from the calculation of the efficiency of the above , about 7% of it you'll already have excess energy for 24 hours...

of course, each chamber will give others a vacuum, and therefore they must propel the various dimensions of the turbine, but connected on one axis ..

No, if anyone can stop the "Physics" from the next disaster? . I do not have the strength to tell you how you should do it ... with 2-meter tunnel adjacent to one another and having a hole at the top, through which a whole this stuff will affect them, and can be removed .. This method of freezing is crazy dangerous because it can destabilize the ground beneath the reactors .. Every physicist should know that water freezes into ice, its volume increases by 10% .. why iceberg floats .. ai thanks on the road doing spring breakthroughs .. and here such a "breakthrough" they want to do the reactors, which may lead them, the 40-meter deep freeze, to improve the soil by 10%, which is 4 meters .. what happens to them, it is not difficult to foresee * as it has imagination, and not just academic titles ... If someone does not know what it is ice here, please : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water .. Besides, this water accumulates on the ice must continue to have some outlet, because it is not a "black hole" ... Help!

OK, as per foam in the unused cavities of airplanes as flotation.
If it were solidly attached, it would take away the flexibility of the wing thus becoming brittle. BAD
One cannot loosely insert it either, it will vibrate into something that needs to move. And in a crash, it will float away. BAD
Any foam is weight, that airplanes don't need. The empty fuel tanks are supposed to float, when not damaged. BAD

"IF" metal can be made with micro air pockets throughout its material and still be strong, it could/would work. GOOD
I also suggested Helium in all the vacant spaces, the amount that can be stored is minimal. SAD

Now this: you have each of these shapes covered with a soft and very durable sponge rubber on the thickness of 5 mm .We will protect it from vibrations and movements fitting styrofoam plates. Also, will not be affected on a vibrating plate. The argument that all this will increase the aircraft Tare is the argument of a man who himself did not ask how much trouble counting foam airplane needs to not sink. So I counted, and calculations show that the hedgehog plane will have 1% of its weight in the foam inserted into the cavities, it is no longer sink .. 1% of it is really a negligibly small. This is so that even on very sensitive weight, this can not be measured at all .. So the weight is negligible, and it can not be an argument against inserting foam .. I much in his life flew planes in the former USSR with concerts Polish bands (about 100 flights) Sometimes, even in the cockpit, as we had a charter plane to piped music .. I know that I would willingly pilots landed on the water, because it reduces the risk of fire, but need to have confidence that the plane did not sink ..

Now why I summoned Riccardo..Ricardo developed fairly firebox V-Comet .. Especially in diesel played a significant role - helped make a high speed diesel engine .In my also applied the swirl chamber, knowing about its merits. The eyebrow appearances, this is what you see on the animation, this is not the combustion chamber. It is only the cross section through the center of the engine combustion . At the rear, with the cross-sectional view as seen in the picture, it is a channel connecting the piston "sucking" piston "exhaust". Flows this way the entire load of fuel and air, but it achieves a very high speed, which in the initial attempts resulted in taking ionized air from between the spark plug electrodes and prevented the formation of spark .Only after a magnification of this channel, began to develop a spark. If sweeping spark plug, this place was a diesel injector, it would be very beneficial ,, because after falling into the space above the small pistons with a very high speed, it would be very intense spin and excellent mixing of fuel and air. I think it is possible to build a high speed diesel, well, up to 10 000 RPM. Also on gasoline this spinning is beneficial and Ground your walls on the smallest piston, is probably the smallest of the previously used, and the heat losses are the smallest .Also at such a high speed of rotation of the smallest piston samozapłonów foci formation will be very difficult. Apart from this place, burning virtually runs elsewhere, because the distance between the planes must be greater than two millimeters in height, so that there could arise a flame. In total combustion occurs with forced intensive centrifugation only over a small piston in the cylinder least .. This is the very Riccardo improved swirl chamber, with the movement of loads in one direction and forced mechanically great speed of combustion. Looking only at the same animations, we are not able to notice it all properly. Today on the combustion chamber.

Here, the film made using the experience to lift air wing. So yes, at the beginning of the film can be seen in the enclosure fan that blows the wind a piece of the wing, cut the stropianu, and nałożonegona these two metal rods that utzrymuja it in a horizontal position and transferred to the balanced Machinery with electronic scales, which shows the size of the wing lift when the wind blows at him with a fan .. size of this force is minimal and barely can observe the movement of machinery. The experience is best several possible KINDS wings of varying thickness profile, which can be changed in a device measuring and watch the size of the lift (which produces leaf vacuum) .. Thanks to this I like the wing of a set of experiments, it turned around and walked to the wing installed on your device . The wind from the fan created between them, comparatively very high vacuum. This vacuum is so huge that in gets called when I wanted to raise above the upper wing, lower, despite a solid metal load measuring machine, also raised very high up. This example shows that the strength of Spoon Effect, is several times greater than the single wing lift force, and thus, it is possible to use the vacuum between them several times larger ....

Here on this simulation, made to explain the effect of ground on which it is about as shown in red, the increase in pressure, which float plane in the vicinity of the land that it represents a lower profile. And it is clear that the intensity of the red color that hypertension is very high and justifies the construction of such aircraft .it strongly an increased pressure in paktyce operates up to 3 meters above the flat surface of the earth
Coincidentally, in this simulation also shows a very intense blue vacuum which interests me, for good performance Windmill Red Baron. can be seen clearly very intense blue color, providing the emerging high-vacuum, which practically see in the video above .. Here are not only rake angles are important, but also the distance between these profiles, as well as setting between the longitudinal profiles, which is not necessarily also be symmetric. Also there is a completely new profile with a gap, certainly will little affect on its size.
After these few facts, I can estimate that the vacuum, with well-chosen all dimensions and angles profiles can be 20 times larger than the negative pressure created by a single profile .. It is a very good message for the Red Baron Windmill

Brgds, Bert

Well, not good with this efficiency .. You mix two completely different concepts, the efficiency of the steam engine The carbon burning, with the efficiency of a wind turbine ( in the negative pressure wing profle NACA - FELIKS ).

When energy comes from burning, really important thing is the efficiency with which it is done. Because we have a limited amount of fuel has just available. and then the 5% is actually a small value .. and the ship has trouble swimming.
But the sail-powered ship, even as it has efficiency of 2%, it still can freely sail around the globe całakule around, for this, the wind energy at sea is missing and NEVER run out why performance in this case the energy of secondary importance, if we have an infinite the amount of free energy to use .. Only at the very beginning, that the construction, we need to build a bigger engine .. Well, for example, in this case, if we want to have 100% efficiency Such as is the atmospheric engine would have to be 20 times greater. So that you can imagine .. .Then all energy supplied will be free to move the engine, and it is certainly several times higher efficiency of such an engine than the normal propeller fan of the same size ..
This engine is sufficient to tens of millibars vacuum, that he began to work very efficiently .. Such differences of pressure observed in Nature, during hurricanes, or tornadoes ..No and efficiency of what is a tornado ?? Large, certainly a big ...

Write or understand the performance issues that the traditional concept is here entirely at long plan, since it does infinite quantity of wind energy to use and we will be sure to have it for the next thousand years. . At most, we can improve the efficiency of its use, using modern methods of testing and optimization of these completely new systems caused by wind Red Baron Windmill..

Such experience existing in the Museum of Aviation, showing the magnitude of the resistance of various airfoil, by replacing and inserting a rod, profiles of different thicknesses .. I used it to show the enormous size of the vacuum between the two profiles airlines, facing each other, "stomachs" .. So yes went my experience: first suspended weighed on an electronic scale, which is the size of kilograms of force needed to raise the single wing slid over to the bars .. turned out that about 300 Grams. that is to pick up all the rods and wing forces need 300 Grams vacuum. Applying a second similar profile, "belly" to that, at the time of blowing "wind" velocity of about 10 km / h. effects can be seen in the movie .. The strength of the vacuum, causing such rapid weight increase this up must have a value of about 1000 Grams (1KG) .. The Wing has a length of about 30 cm, on that basis, I present a first estimate of the forces in the world .. Namely, when length of about a meter, such wings, this force would have a value of about 3 KG ... or even if only 30% of the force could be used in Windmill Red Baron, its size would be about 1 KG with wings 1 meter .. Now you can try to calculate much larger projects, estimated at least ..

Your "enormous vacuum" (taking the figure of 1 kg on an area of 300mm x 300mm) works out to about 110Pa, 0.11kPa or 1/1000th of one atmosphere. That is plenty of pressure difference if you want to make an aeroplane fly but very little if you want to turn a generator.

Oh no , no ,no, .. I'm sorry but your argument is a little convoluted ..

After the show I open an airplane that with such surface wings 30 cm X 30 cm, with a weight of 1 KG can fly at speeds of 10 km / h ...
Minimum of the minimum speed is 100 km / h.

Now this: What is the wind ??
The wind is created when there is a difference of pressure air (i.e., on the one hand must be vacuum)
Now tell me, what is the difference of pressure between these points: 2 km in front of the windmill and two kilometers behind him .. sure there a lot smaller than me, and more than one megawatt generator drives the few, the difference of pressure, which can be even only 1 / 100000 ... one atmosphere. Despite the huge amount of fans suppliers provide free energy.
Such airplanes as ekranoplan have only 1/10 of an aircraft wing surface normal, and even a few hundred tons of flying over water., Is Hypertension .. For me, it is the same big (or and bigger) but the vacuum .. And it's certainly enough to generator drive .. I make such a system of reinforced concrete, 10 times bigger than the Boeing 747 is not technically any problems .. And certainly when compared to the size of a normal fan can by tens of times more energy in the generator. than a traditional windmill.
Well at the end, I show 'windmill, which at a diameter of 30 cm, and a wind speed of 10 km / h will give us the potency of its axis 1 KG rotary or thrust .. well ......
So is mine is really huge compared to what you knew so far .

The wings are slots having a height of 2 mm and a length of 600 mm. or surface fissures through which you get negative pressure to the inside wing is 1200 mm ^ 2. Jarobiac the first model of this wing, I wanted to somehow very simple and cheap execute it. To derive this vacuum, I used a disposable syringe of 20 cc. It inside diameter of 22 mm .. or its surface, is 380 mm ^ 2. As you can see this is the narrowest section, which has to overcome the aerodynamic resistance of the vacuum. This section is very unfavorable, because it is up to 1200/380 = 3.15 lower than the inlet gap .. He should be at least equal to the area of ??the gap, or three such tubing from a syringe .And we have only one wing. Despite this, the fan, which is for the help transition to a higher diameters, ie D = 36 mm or 1017 mm surfaces ^ 2 ie more than two times greater than the tube Inlet, rotates, already at 4 m / sec ..and I think that this it is all very good, despite the primitive prototype, but the first on .. I was at the fair Engine Expo 2015 in Stuttgart, this time to watch, but lacked the funds .. But we have a great relationship with the load Engine of the Year awards in 12 categories in 2015 ... I was just dreaming that in a few years in these all categories , can overcome my concept of four-stroke engines ... it's just that you have to win about 85% of knowledge about the new engine and the old concepts abandon, despite the here they are great ..but worth it .. here reportage of this wonderful celebration ..

So once again we return to the thermodynamic efficiency new4stroke .. Here the hearing of the efficiency of the charts made for the traditional engine.
https://www.mhi.co.jp/technology/review/pdf/e451/e451021.pdf

You can see on the chart with the highest efficiency is low speed engine sea, which is 47%.
My engine as reported above, draws about 360 cc more than the old conventional engine, which did a prototype or 600 ccm ... But this extra volume displacement, is implemented by the system of pistons which rotate two times slower, ie, the force of inertia are four times smaller, because they are dependent upon the square of the rotation. that is, we can just to count the inertial forces relative to the sucked air further. 360 ccm divided by four is going to give us 90 cc. These 90 ccm going to beat the additional forces of inertia (ie a total of friction). But now we have a net profit of 360 ccm minus 90 cc = 270 cc. It is pure extra profit aspirated air, without any mechanical losses already on its construction .. that is entirely theoretical operational efficiency engine so it looks .. traditional engine of 600 cc is 47%, ie 12, 76 ccm is 1% plus an additional 270 cc, which is 270 divided by 12,76 = 21% additional efficiency .. So the total increase the efficiency regarding displacement capacity should be at 47 +21 = 68%. additionally, we can still make a profit energy by stopping propelling Similar systems poppet valves and springs which will have at least the 7% efficiency more .. So, the total physical ability of such an engine 68% + 7% = ~ 75% .

ie it is to increase efficiency, which can not be subject to discussion.

If we add all the above mentioned advantages, no such low temperature in the combustion chamber, the combustion speed, and more, which can contribute to higher efficiency even further by around 5% this will give us the final number of efficiency of up to 80% .....

Funny how you can take a group of things that each might produce X change each but together they don't add up.

My dad was able to get over 100 theoretical mpg between using Rainex, A/C vent turbos, and other doo-dads he picked up at J.C. Whitney and late night TV shopping. He was always yelling at the gas station attendant for their faulty pumps that charged him twice what he calculated he should have needed to fill up. The Man is keeping us down!

Windmills are good, but you need a wind to their work ...
But here the way we can, even in a closed room, well, for instance in the basement of the house, "produce wind" .. Just, the Starting a device, manually, to the speed of 18 m / sec..To are few, it is 1 turn per second.
I've been to all these wings Windmill Red Baron, will operate the wind, at the speed of 18 m / sec ..
If we consider, in simulator NASA and the effect of "spoon" is theoretically You will receive an strength of resistance to "lift force" (vacuum). and is about 15 times less ..
So the resistance force, it is only around 6% received "lift force"
I think that even with a very negligent and mismanagement execution of such a machine, it will propel herself after the first start-up .. And we should still get some electricity .. Case, jet just how much ..

We must take care to harmful aerodynamic resistances as low as possible ..
Because, after all, and two revolutions per second can turn the wings .. It is 120 km / h .. Pretty on the wind.
This cover should be good.

If the vacuum looks like the animation spoon wings, it is seen that it has a range before the profile wings. Perhaps the the vacuum will suck the new air between the wings and hence a marked decrease their frontal resistance ..

Here a version with a large vane Engines .. I do not know yet what dimensions it should be .. Maybe even a big and then it will be adjusted to the amount and pressure created by the wings

Once upon a time there was no internet .. Even with the video was difficult .. only movies .. I have survived such films showing such beautiful cars with large wings .. I once suggested that such a wing but the bulge facing down ..but not all of it like .. it turned out that such huge wings were already in use .. Now can a wing of such large dimensions but the double - spoon effect .. interesting how many vacuum that could, if NACA-profile Felix apply any .. maybe above a certain speed .. .....

Yesterday marked the 70th anniversary of explosion atomic bomb in Nagasaki. the first theoretical founder Joseph Rotblat it was ..

https://www.wagingpeace.org/tag/joseph-rotblat/

quoted below what was his attitude to scientific discoveries:

"Hind al. [16] pointed out that the unpredictability switched
petent research makes such a project
difficult, if at all possible. But such a project
of it becomes meaningful if based on ethical principles.
Rotblat was of the opinion that the foundations of ethics should form
part of the training of all scientists. He wanted,
that universities have adopted some sort of cited above
oaths, and to students of natural filed
such a vow when finish their studies, and listened to lectures
on the ethical aspects of science. Relying on his conscience
and the good will of individual scientists not in itself
It will be sufficient, since the units are often unreliable.
Therefore called for the establishment of a number of ethics committees,
which might consider science projects that may affect
human life, some kind of medical committees
ethical. Consent ethics of such a committee would be required
for funding a particular direction of research.
In later life, Rotblat opposed
research conducted in secret, which is often
in the case of government research and industrial applications. He believed
that new knowledge to be shared. He moved a problem
associated with the commercialization of research, since many studies
carried out in universities were funded
from commercial sources. This could influence the direction
study, put at risk the ethical problems and increase the mystery.
He also began to hate the patenting of results
research, because in his opinion, knowledge should be
available for free. But scientists themselves often impose secrecy.
because they want to keep other scholars in the dark
until publication, because a person who
First it publishes, often gets awards and honors.
These views Rotblat that come with early stages
his career and matured over a lifetime, are a bit naive,
because competition, secrecy
and commercialization are part of learning. He simply wanted
resist these pressures "

I like it..
