The bad news is that I have 3 broken head studs
The good news is that the rest are still attached :D
Book your tickets now b/c I think I just found us our first winter project.
BTW, I am still planning on doing the August DE - I'm just not going to push her too hard

Charlie - I might just have to take you up on that offer. Maybe I can pick your brain over a steak dinner on the deck :) I'll shoot you an e-mail early this week.
As far as the upgrades go I'll be trying to keep everything pretty much stock. I'm going to be putting the money I save by doing it that way towards a track car :D

"a track car"
Doug:
That sounds like a GREAT idea! Let me know when you go shopping (for car, tub, engine, tranny, cage, etc...) Might have some parts to get you started if it is a DIY track car endeavor. :D

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but a track car is still a few years away. I figure if I start saving now then when the time comes it will just make the purchase that much easier ... at least that's the logic I'm using with my wife

"Eat cake when cake is offered" Track cars are, all things considered, each one of a kind. When you see the one you think is just what you want in a track car you should buy it if posable.
Drive, learn then buy.

Drive, learn then buy.
Or build...

Build if you got the $ and know exactly what you want and how to get there. Buy someone elses dream car, save 50% or so and you get to test it before you lay down the $. You never get out what you put in...

I'll add "ever" to that statement.
