Anybody have an comments on Autotherapy? I have an SC that needs some work and I was thinking about taking it there. Thanks in advance.

Some NoVa-area shops to consider are IMA, ASG and RPM. All have their fans and detractors here on Dorkiphus. Not too much info on autotherapy.

What Dave said, try some shops in NoVA. I'm a fan of ASG. Autotherapy isn't worth the hike IMO......

Roger Bratter is the owner, long time Porsche guy, club racer, SCCA. Use to run a modified 930.
I think his shop is near the G'burg Air Park.
If you've talked to Roger and think he's the shop for you, go for it.

I was just there at 4:30 today. I was drooling over the 1970 964 bodied racer in the parking lot--480 bhp.

As long as you don't mind the drive I recommend Autotherapy. You will always get an honest answer from Roger backed by years of experience.

Also, please define the 'work' your SC needs -- Dorkiphus is a BB full of DIYers, after all Maybe some of it is stuff that could be handled here in Alexandria! There's a few compressors and air wrenchs in the neighborhood, and even a nice lift if you head down to the Ft. Hunt area...

Thanks for the responses. I am going to voyage across the potomac ocean to use autotherapy. I trust Roger. I am burning lots of oil (e.g. smoke screen) and I need a new clutch; and some other stuff.

Here's a one wheel salute from "Chocolate Thunder"
