Default I'm here and ready to tear up some roads with actual curves in them.

Howdy folks,

Just moved up from Jacksonville, FL - the land where you can use a road map as a reasonable substitute for graphing paper, and am REALLY itching for some real driving.

Here're the required pics of the rides:

If anyone else is down, I'm virtually guaranteed to be up for it.

Let me know.

Cool. I'll be up there eventually when I get out of school. We rented out Gainesville raceway for Rennstock, it was lots of fun.

How was it? I wanted to do Rennstock, but that was the weekend I left to come up here.

Well....it rained on us. Travis, Matt, and I made the best of it and considering how bad the weather was I think the organization of it went off pretty well. I was real smart and thought we were going to get some dry, so I put on my fuchs w/R-rated khumo rubber with like Zero tread. Well, it rained right @ 9am when we started.

Needless to say it was a fun little car control clinic. In the words of travis. Dude, your 944 was the only one with an sort of rooster tail of water!

Welcome to the board Steve. I totally know how it is in Florida. I lived in Winter Park for 25 years before moving up here. There are some awsome roads about an hour west of here. Not to mention Summit Point Raceway is about the same distance. Most of us are getting our cars ready for the 06 DE/race season. However, if the white sh!t ain't on the pavement, I'm up for insighting some road rage.
