mostly good for a drive out in the favorite car with good weather and spending time with friends. i thought there was supposed to be a concours, but i didn't see any evidence of a car display. my best buy was a set of steel lug nuts for $34. how was the track event?

I just got a set of these for some $60. Then again, a 914 has only 4 lugs, right?

Having never been to this one before I wasn't sure how big it was.
Well it's certainly no Hershey, but I'd be silly to expect that. I was hoping to stumble onto some wheels, slim chance with 12 vendors. The few concours made it worth the drive.

Not much parts wise and other than the steel lug nuts, the DCAuto guy wasn't dealing. Nice 94 RS for 31K!

He did have two sets of side oil lines one SC, one Carrera (didn’t know they were different) $300 a set. One had a thermostat, both had trombone coolers. Oldtee got a NICE set of wheels for his ‘28 money pit.

Angry

I arrived late around 2:00pm. There were only about 3 cars parked in the lot. Seems like I didn't miss much.

Sounds like it definately has lost its luster, even after taking a year off.

To be fair I didn't even consider make the trip around the beltway but had it been in my backyard again at DIM I would definately have stopped by for a looksee.
