Default Good Car Wash in Arlington area?

HI Folks:

I'm new to the forum, and wanted to know if you could recommend a good car wash location in the Arlington area? Hand wash would be preferred... the car is getting a bit dirty!

Many thanks,
Chase

ditto...The time spent, will pay off in spades...Hand washing in this area is not trully available, unless you allow a bunch of school kids to do it for a nice donation. Time is getting short due to weather.

Baileys cross roads (RT7)....Near to St. anthony's is a place that you can do it yourself.(quarter machine) Been two + years since I have been in the area.

Their is a place that you can get a detail on four mile run by the DMV. I believe you can specify for hand washing. I used it for my old Jetta. Costly but very nice. Its been awhile....Otherwise SOL.

Peace...

Happy Friday

I would normally wash it myself, but I live in an apartment complex; hence, no driveway, hose or possibility.

I also saw the car wash by DMV on 4 mile Run... do you remember how much they charge?

Thanks,
Chase

I can vouch for Yates Carwash in Alexandria. They have both the conveyor belt and hand wash/wax. The detaililng service is a bit pricey but they do a good job.

Its located on Jeff Davis Hwy about 1/4 mile south of the bridge over the railroad tracks of the old Potomac Yards, and right next door to a MacDonalds.

Chase, that carwash is called David's Carwash II. They do great work. they charge $25 for a hand wash, which is more like a mini-detail.

There's a self-wash at the Citgo on Fairfax Cir., at the corner of Lee Hwy. and Blake Lane. They only have two booths though. There's another one on Rt. 50 in Falls Church at some gas station across from the IHOP.

Hooters charity car wash?

There's also a very limited self wash at the BP on the corner of Four Mile Run and Walter Reed.
