I purchased a Cyntex performance chip (based in West Chester, PA) for my 1990 C2 almost a year ago in an attempt to smooth the idle fluctuations it suffers due to a light weight fly wheel. While their customer service was not very prompt from the beginning, they now appear to have dropped off the map - not returning calls, e-mail, or accepting the second chip I attempted to return to them.
Does anyone know their fate or how I might best contact them? You may want to take this message as a word of warning about this vendor - the two Cyntex chips I tried did not improve my car's performance and they are now either out of business or choosing to ignore my communications.
