Default Hiya!

Hello, newbie here!

I was introduced to this forum yesterday while at a Porsche wrenching party, so I figured I'd join up and say "Hola!"

Hola!

I have been a long-time Porsche fan, enough such that I even talked my father into buying a '74 911, which I subsequently learned how to drive in and even took my driver's test in!

Currenty, I have an '87 944 which is my baby.

But don't worry, I still have a love for 911's, and even got to babysit my dad's '86 for a while!

...and, if anyone cares, I picked up a new daily driver recently. As much as I loved my old VW Jetta, after 19 years and 275k miles, I was spending a lot of time on little things. So, I decided to get something a little more fun for my running about. Car needs to be cleaned, tho...

Anywho, I just wanted to say "Hi" and I hope to see some of you all around!

BB.

Welcome BB. Looks like you met one of the few folks here who love water pumpers.

Stick around a little and you'll realize we put the 'fun' in dysfunctional.

Meh, I don't care if it pumps water, oil, air or whatever. If it's a Porsche, I love it.

But dysfunctionality is fun. I'm a firm believer that a little bit of insanity is good for the sanity...

Thanks!

The sad thing is that I used to drive it whenever. But then I got it repainted and bought a house with a garage. Now, provided the Mazda isn't broken, if I see rain in the forecast, it stays home.

It's sad, really...
