Default value of deep 6's

I was looking at a 71 911 for sale today and it had a complete set of deep 6 15" fuchs...including the spare! Are these wheels rare? What is their value roughly?

The car could be had between $8.5-9k but needed everything except engine rebuild (completed 5 yrs ago). Very nice, mostly rust free targa. Would make a nice project for someone......else

Nice find on the thread Justin.

Dan: I think I have a couple of deep 6s but, I really need 911R 7s for the rear of my tub. Then I can "properly" stuff some 225/45/15 race rubber in there. It seems $300 +/- $50 is market value based on the PP thread.

Of course, the R 7s are BEAUCOUPE $$$. andthe purists would be pissed I'd be tracking them

Jase, I think I read on PPBBS that Harvey Weidman takes deep sixes and regular sixes to fab up 7R replica Fuchs.

Yup, I'm thinking about this with my deep 6's... I just haven't had time to call and price it.
