Pari, I have one too. I'm out of town until Wednesday, but I can leave it with Christina and you can pick it up tomorrow, if you want.

I assume this is for the ball joint? If so, you should know this will destroy the joint, so if this is where you are, pull the pin from the strut, use a pickle fork to seperate the a-arm, and bring the a-arm over to my house. We'll use my compressor and the 4x4 hub tool to get the big nut off. Cutting that thing of is a major PITA. I tried.

I have an almost new one for sale if you want. $40 with cable extention and lots of little bits and stuff. Everyone needs a Dremmel and not for what you see in the ads. Cutting grout or sanding a railing with one is a great way to spend about a year of extra time doing something. Dremmels are best at getting you out of a jam. The best at cutting bearing races off making slots the end of snapped of bolts and cutting rusty lump nuts loose.

Thanks for the replies everyone ! Well, since Marc informed me that I don't need to remove the castle nut to get the a-arms off, I guess I won't need the Dremel right away.

I think because Chris has BTDT, I will be taking him up on his offer to help me out, thanks bud! I owe you some rolling rock 8). If all else fails, John I will let you know and come get your Dremel.

Kurt, I'm still interested in buying your Dremel tool from you, I'll give you a call.
BTW, nice sales pitch :

Pari, as a backup, I have the socket and impact wrench as well. If it fails, it may be easier to cut off with the torch than using the dremel.

Besides, my friend, I know from the spring plate picture of you and Charlie that you like smoke and fire! 8) Only thing better is fire with a shower of sparks and metal!
