Adults: $40/person

Price includes meal, tip, tax, privateroom, a long stem rose for spouses/companions, balloons for kids, and contribution to the minimal award costs.

Purpose: A good opportunity to recognize the hard work our dorki moderators have done. We can give out gag awards.

Being that my wife has been very understanding about the p-car (actually cars in general) fascination, I thought it might also be a good opportunity for the wife to meet the people I hang out with. Maybe for all with significant others, we can take this opportunity to say "thanks".

Roses to be handed out to the ladies and balloons will be given to the kids.

Update:

Maggiano's in Tysons only has the following available now

Dec 5 @ 5pm in the lower dining area (no private room) max at this table is 20 people. If we have more, the extras would have to sit at a different table.

I'm going to check with Maggiano's at 5333 Wisconsin Ave NW • Washington, DC 20015 to see if they have a private room available.

So the Maggiano's in DC/Bethesda has a private room available for Dec 5th.

The Leone room, comfortable for up to 40, is available. The food and beverage minimum is $1,000., prior to 31% in additional taxes and gratuity.

If we have 25 people, that's about $52 a head. If we have more, obviously the cost could drop down to as low as $35.

If we stay at the Tyson's location, we won't have a private room and cost will be about $30 a head. Max 20 people at one table and others will have to sit in separate areas. I currently have a 20 person reservation there as a back up.

For those confirmed, what do you prefer? Keep in mind that I'll need to put a contract with the restaurant if we go with DC/.Bethesda soon.
